    About this Episode

In this sermon on 1 Peter chapter 1 Pastor Keith explains how God deserves all the praise for giving Christians such a great salvation through the gospel of Jesus Christ. What they have now and look forward to in eternity fuels their joy, hope and love even in the face of fiery trials. God has given His people a new identity and inheritance and He is guarding them along with their inheritance. Though the Christian life involves a great salvation it also involves suffering. And the Apostle Peter wrote to Christians who were suffering greatly going through "fiery trials". The words in his epistle were written to encourage and strengthen the faith and hope of those Christians and they can do that for us who are believers today as we read them.

    You must Be Born Again
In this sermon, Kevin Diaz explains that we must be born again! Understanding what it means to be born again will cause us to discern our own salvation and should either lead us to repentant from our sin or lead us to a life dedicated to glorifying God through obedience and sharing gospel message in hope to lead others to become born again.

A Stuffed Life Vs. A Kingdom Life

A Stuffed Life Vs. A Kingdom Life
Jesus calls us his followers to guard against covetousness and worry and counter it by having an eternal perspective and a Kingdom pursuit. A nagging desire for more than what you have diminishes your enjoyment of what you have, it dishonors God who has graciously provided what you have, and it demonstrates ingratitude and discontentment. And Jesus offers us a better way of life. Jesus, who is the source of life, offers us a life that reflects the values of His Kingdom.
