Denise Wester has lived through her share of pivots and setbacks. Leaving a restrictive religion, divorce, living on welfare with 4 kids, moving 12 times in one year, being severely injured in a car accident that took two years of physical therapy to recover.
She constantly powers through, taking her life and happiness into her own hands. In this episode, Denise talks about living to the fullest, getting outside your comfort zone, moving forward, and learning new things. Listen to discover how she removed "I can't" from her vocabulary, and why she says “YES” to everything!
Denise believes in always challenging yourself and staying curious. She defines “discomfort” as being grateful for what you have while believing that you deserve more!
Her book “Busting Through,” was born from her deep desire to pass along everything she’s learned. It’s a journaling workbook that includes prompts and exercises to help you find clarity, discover who you are and what you want in life.
Besides journaling, community helped Denise through her hardest times. She is creating a group for women in transition to empower and support each other in being courageous.
We all have something we can do to help each other. We can empower each other to get unstuck, bust through the paradigms and do anything we want. Denise is living proof.
