    Sue (Parsons) Zipay of Rockford Peaches & Lois Youngens – Fort Wayne Daisies & South Bend Blue Sox share their stories from the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League.

    • Jimmy Foxx, managed the Fort Wayne Daisies in 1952, never missed a game, never drank on the bus, always tipped his hat, a true gentleman 
    • No Crying in Baseball
    • Right Field or Catching – Smarter than the Boys
    • 110 games a season – sometimes 7 days a week with a couple of double headers
    • AAGPBL pitchers often pitched 9 innings a game and sometimes pitched 2 days back to back
    • Sue talks about pitching and 2nd base and how AAGPBL was like a family
    • Fans – Daisy Fan Club – provided a picnic for players once a year
    • After the game the long ride home & then rise early the next morning for practice
    • Young, Healthy & Loved the Game

    • Jimmie Foxx’s daughter was a Bat Girl for the Fort Wayne 
    • Lois synergy with Jean Faut the G.O.A.T. had great control most of the time
    • Lois traded to South Bend

    • Faut had a good sequence of pitches that gave her the perfect game
    • The Weavers - Jean & Jo were 2 of the best batters in the League

    • Canada is number 1 in Girl’s / Women’s Baseball
    • Why is it that there has not been a Professional Women’s Baseball League
    • More than half of the USA Team Championship members will be at the tournament.
