Can you get your period back while Breastfeeding? :: Brittany’s Story

Can you get your period back while Breastfeeding? :: Brittany’s Story

Welcome to another episode of the Period Recovery Podcast!

This week, I am joined by Brittany, a previous client of mine, to share her story! Graduating from my coaching program in the summer of 2022, she has now recovered her period for a solid year! Brittany retells her story of how she lost her period discovering HA and gaining it back while breastfeeding.

In our chat today, we brought up specific points to think about when it comes to period recovery:

    • Being a Crossfit Coach going through a Period Recovery
    • There are so many different and confounding factors that go into why we can lose our periods and one of them can be upbringing; it doesn’t have to be something physically said, but it can also be picked up by words their parents say or their actions, etc
    • If you don’t want to change or fix something, don’t go into coaching - this way, you aren’t wasting resources for someone who does actually want to change or fix something about themselves
    • The sooner you start to try and recover your period, the sooner you can move on
