    About this Episode

Sean O'Donnell (LA Kings) and Sean Tierney (Charting Hockey) join host Jesse Cohen as we continue our series of player evaluations for the 2019-20 LA Kings season. With the NHL calendar finally in place we aim to have all our player evaluations and draft prospect reports done in time for the first round of the NHL Draft so you'll know exactly where the franchise stands heading into what should be a pivotal "offseason". First up this week is Mikey Anderson. Anderson appeared in just 6 games for the Kings last season but is expected to have an increased role in the coming year. The Minnesota native was a 4th round draft pick in the 2017 Entry Draft and scored his first NHL goal during his brief stint with the Kings. He spent the bulk of 2019-20 in Ontario where he scored 15 points in 53 games with the Reign. Defensive depth is the theme of this weeks evaluations and Kurtis MacDermid is the next player to be evaluated. The 6'5 defender signed a contract extension in the offseason after appearing in 45 games with the Kings during the 2019-20 season. Never miss an episode by subscribing today at LAKings.com/podcast.
