    About this Episode

President Biden met with the Pope this morning, the first stop on a European tour that includes a G-20 economic summit in Rome on Saturday, followed by a UN climate meeting in Glasgow Scotland. The President left Washington without agreement on his infrastructure and social spending bills but progress was made, and the White House remains optimistic that passage is at hand. Meanwhile Virginia and New Jersey face important elections next week, as voters in those two blue states go to the voting booth to pick their next governors. And Facebook has changed its name to Meta. One thing upon which almost all of Washington seems to agree is that Facebook, or Meta, or whatever you call it, is a problem. National correspondent Susan Crabtree, White House reporter Phil Wegmann, and Sean Trende, senior elections analyst, join Andrew Walworth on today’s RealClearPolitics Takeaway podcast.
