My guest today is Shannon Brinkley. She is an American quilt and fabric designer, author, and national speaker and teacher. She is known for her scrappy applique technique, which uses scrappy bits of applique, of course, to make modern art quilts.

She is the founder of the Meander Quilt Guild, a community for education and growth The Patrick program training quilters to become successful quiltpreneurs and turn their craft into a career.   And today you'll find out there's so much more where that came from.

I'm so excited to chat today with Amy Butler. She is known worldwide for her colour and design as a multi passionate creator. You can spot her designs in a second. I think her aesthetic is best described as comfort, in my mind anyway, because every photo on her website evokes a sense of world travel, but also the joy and comfort of home.

She has accomplished so much in her career, but always seems to follow her own unique path. And it's been brilliant to watch the journey of success through recurring self discovery. She's not afraid to embrace change. This episode is one of those ones that left me wanting to ask a hundred more questions.

My guest today is Angie Knowles. She is a mixed media textile artist and online educator. I have been her friend for years online and had the chance to meet her in person finally at QuiltCon 2022. She is really into experimentation and pushing the boundaries of a process or technique.

She takes it further than she thinks she can and then turns around and shares it with her audience. Her first online course is a series of classes on learning to design for your cutting machine. And her latest course is a wonderful exploration of rust dyeing fabric, which I absolutely love doing myself and I'm excited to explore the technique on the podcast.
