    About this Episode

Today, we continue our series about the questions from God and Jesus. We read in Exodus once again, but this time God has a new question for Moses," Why do you cry out to me?" This one caused me to pause, listen in and be encouraged!

God is omniscient—He knows everything. However he ASKS questions! The questions God asks always serve a purpose. He does not ask to obtain information, since He already possesses all information; His questions serve a different purpose, and that purpose varies based on the context of the question and the needs of the one to whom the question is directed. The questions He asked in the Bible are still applicable TODAY!

Bread of Life: A Spiritual Sustenance for the Weary Traveler

Bread of Life: A Spiritual Sustenance for the Weary Traveler

Today, we continue our weary traveler series. Listen in as I chat about a few layers of bread's symbolism in the Bible, an essential sustenance for both the body and soul. This episode attempts to knead together the rich narrative of bread cited 492 times in Scripture, as we explore its place from Genesis to the miraculous manna of Exodus, and how it intertwines with our faith journey today. Drawing inspiration from old and New Testament traditions, we will reveal how bread is not only a reminder of God's provision but also a powerful metaphor for the Word of God that fuels our spiritual endurance.

As we break the 'bread of life' together, we'll reflect on the profound unity and nourishment we discover in Christ, inspired by the teachings of 1 Corinthians 10:16-17. Our communion bread is more than a ritual; it's a tangible symbol of our collective identity in Jesus, providing spiritual sustenance that fosters growth within our community of believers. Join us for this episode as we extend encouragement especially for YOU, and celebrate the shared strength we gain from our faith's divine nourishment with others.

Remember, weary traveler you won't be weary long... Listen in next week for another episode of weary traveler essentials.

Questions from God Series: Episode Four

Questions from God Series: Episode Four

Today, we continue our series about the questions from God and Jesus. As we read from Job we can remember his hard story. Here we have a question from  God to Job. It's a question that I believe we can all learn from. It serves as a beautiful reminder when we question. Listen in, be encouraged and share if you feel led.

Job 38:1-4 Then the LORD answered Job out of the storm. He said: (2) Who is this that darkens my counsel with words without knowledge? (3) Brace yourself like a man; I will question you, and you shall answer me. (4)  Where were you when I laid the earth's foundation? Tell me, if you understand.

    1 Corinthians 13:12
“Now we see things imperfectly as in a cloudy mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity.  All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely.” (NLT)

Questions from God Series: Episode Two

Today, we continue our series about the questions from God and Jesus. A few weeks ago, we were in Genesis 3 with God's first question to human kind in the garden of Eden. Today, we move to our second question of focus from Exodus where He asks Moses," What is in your hand?"
