    About this Episode

Hello dear listeners. Simplifying life is a way of returning to the roots of your being, and in this pursuit to live more intentionally, I have left social media to concentrate on offering new poetry, meditations and courses on Substack.

My time is spent here now, so I hope you will join me (think less 'attention deficit blackhole' and more 'intentional infinite space'!) Nourishing content is sent to your private email space on a weekly basis.

For now, here are some clips I've put together from the new private podcast, called Sit With Sez which I send out every Monday. I love being a part of your journey and look forward to connecting with you and any questions you have in the comments!

Rise & Receive - Experiencing Intimacy, Support, And Ease

This audio has been created to deepen my free experiential meditation, The Unbound Self. As you wake up, come into your body through your sense perception and discover how much the mind creates your day ahead of time with ideas of effort and struggle.

In this talk/meditation/reflection, we are asked to stay in bed while we make contact with what is already here through our direct experience, which already offers itself to our longings of comfort, ease, and abundance. It will take a willing softness to shift away from what we've learned about achieving certain states through effort and seeking - but with practice and remembrance, we will eventually create so much space within us that we will come to know ourselves as the very medicine we seek.

I hope these words reveal to you how thoughts, stories, and internal narratives fracture what is inherently complete - and how vital our direct experience through the felt senses is in helping us find our deepest sense of wholeness. With love, Sez

The Unbound Self - Unravelling Lack from it's Mental Narrative

The Unbound Self - Unravelling Lack from it's Mental Narrative

Attempting to fail as gracefully as I can at articulating the experience of our selfless, true nature. This meditation is full of intentional questions that will help you unbind your egoic sense of self from its narrative, freeing the story of emotional pain and lack from its root cause; our forgetfulness of who we truly are. This visualization blends thoughtful music, nature scapes, and the non-dual realization of ‘no-self’ with direct experience, aiming to ground you, rather than dissociate you further from your innate sense of wholeness.

Let me know how your experience was if you feel called to - and thank you so much for the privilege of journeying home with you. Contains: a 10-minute intro talk / a 30-minute, deep-dive sensory meditation / and a 7-minute end notes talk.

This year in one word - and how to remember your indivisible wholeness

This episode is taken from my last free newsletter of 2023! The original voiceover can be found on my SUBSTACK, along with the transcript and a poll I've put forward to all listeners.

You don’t need to be free of your ache in order to be free. This is what this year has helped me see and I hope it can be of use to you as you navigate this path back home to peace, love and freedom.

Thank you for sharing, or for simply being present. As I continue to exist without any social media, I am grateful for all the ways you help this work move in a heart-based manner. Please always feel free to ask questions or let me know your experience by emailing: hello@sezkristiansen.com

Wild Mind - Returning To Our Essential Nature

Wild Mind - Returning To Our Essential Nature

Blending psychology, wilderness, and non-duality to take you on a meditative journey into the heart of your self-less being. The colonized mind pollutes our ability to recognize our essential nature by creating a protective small self that relies on the external world. However, we also have a Wild Mind, a metaphor for how natural, spontaneous, and organic our minds can be when we leave them to regenerate, compost & expand themselves. From our rewilded and transparent mind, we are better able to recognize our undivided Self.

This 20-minute talk and 15-minute meditation have to complement soundscapes and wildcrafted sound effects to help make this theme a visceral experience, not just a concept.

    ________
This experience has been wildcrafted from time in the Wild. It offers us a somatic experience of presence, which can help us heal by bringing us down to earth. Nature has a natural ability to ground us which is one of the most important healing practices of our time because we all spend much of our day on screens, in buildings, in shoes, and separated in many ways from the natural world.

We are nature. We don't come to earth but from her, so the more we reconnect to our Wild the more we embody our Whole Self.

I hope you enjoy this experience and I would love to meet you on Substack for weekly meditation sessions.

The Well Within - Finding the answers you seek within yourself

The Well Within - Finding the answers you seek within yourself

A poem to help you discover yourself without the external noise that bombards us every moment. We often seek answers through this stream of information, but it tends to not make us feel like we are healed or whole, and often causes a rift between where we are in our lives right now and where we wish ourselves to be. What if we listened more attentively to the well of wisdom we already hold within us? What would bubble up from that space if left undammed?

The Cave of Trauma - Symbolic Story for Emotional Healing

The Cave of Trauma - Symbolic Story for Emotional Healing

Those of us who have been traumatized often find ourselves shut inside protective caves that sever us from our feeling body. Returning to who we are, therefore, means leaving what we know - those coping strategies (caves) - that no longer serve us. Finding our way back home to our soft mammal of a body means giving up the reptile within that keeps us perpetually in fight/flight/freeze mode. I hope this helps you with whatever you are going through right now, Sez
