This week C.J. and Kent return from hiatus to discuss the news. They talk about both the Wisconsin and Federal Supreme Court rulings, the false elector scheme, and Viola Davis, a renowned female drummer from Wisconsin.

This week C.J. and Kent stick to the news and discuss the Evansville Tornado, Wisconsin ranking last in art funding, and updates to the gerrymandering of our election maps in Wisconsin. 

This week C.J. And Kent talk about some news including our state’s budget surplus, a new bridge in Superior that is the result of Biden’s infrastructure spending, and the inequitable state of Wisconsin’s present tax code. For the main topic they talk about the season ahead and the topics we will explore, as well as the theoretical lenses through which we will view this specific period of history within our state.

This week, Kent and C.J. discuss updates to the story of Joe Gow and reforms to prisoner’s property rights. They also discuss a Breitbart article that deceptively discusses a crisis in Whitewater that is due to an influx of immigrants in order to portray their presence as a part of a “flood” brought by Biden.

To ring in the new year Kent and C.J. stick to the news and discuss the Wisconsin Supreme Court’s ruling on our electoral maps and the GOP response, the mismanagement of PFAS remediation funds, as well as the UW Lacrosse Chancellor Joe Gow being fired for making pornography with his wife.

This week C.J. and Kent discuss the UW System’s agreement to Vos’ terms on DEI, a program to pay for higher education for Indigenous people, the human cost of the Dobbs decision, and the resignation of a police officer accused of being an Oathkeeper. For the main topic they continue their discussion of Warren Chase’s The Gist of Spiritualism, this time focusing on his fundamental spiritual/religious ideas.

This week, C.J. and Kent discuss unions filing a lawsuit against Act 10, Wisconsin prisons, and the Christmas tree erected by the Church of Satan- along with the ire it raised among conservatives. For the main topic, they start a multiple-part series investigating the roots of spiritualism in Wisconsin and cover some of its history and one of its proponents, and an all-around cool dude, Warren Chase.

This week C.J. and Kent talk about the opening of the Wisconsin Supreme Court’s hearings about our gerrymandered election maps, mental health in the UW system, and Evers’ use of an anonymous email. For the main topic they continue their discussion of Doveland, Wisconsin, a supposedly vanished town. They talk about some of the possible kernels of truth that have helped make this urban legend of the digital age, such as paper towns, Wisconsin’s missing people, and the association with Project Sanguine.

This week C.J. and Kent discuss the sentencing of the woman who murdered her friend with Visine, bipartisan support of a pilot program exploring the use of psilocybin-containing mushrooms to treat PTSD in veterans, and UW System budget cuts due to the Republican's fight over DEI. Additionally, they discuss the neonazi group “Blood Tribe,” who marched on State Street recently to attempt an intimidate people
