This week I sit down with the legendary broadcaster, Joe Buck. Joe is the play-by-play man for ESPN's Monday Night Football broadcast. Previously Joe spent 27 years at Fox Sports, where he called some of the most memorable sporting events in history. Ever watch a Super Bowl on Fox? You listened to Joe Buck behind the mic. What about a World Series game? That was Joe again. MLB All-Star Game? You know who.

Joe's name has become synonymous with marque sporting events over the decades and now will be attached to the Jefé Sports Podcast.

Robert Robinson is the assistant coach at East Los Angeles College, a junior college in Los Angeles, California. This past season, Netflix sent a camera crew to document the team's trials and tribulations. Unfortunately, due to COVID, the team could not finish the season but, they still had a successful season, ending with the best record in school history. The rollercoaster of the 2020 season, combined with the heartbreaking stories of the twelve players, made for what many (including myself) call the best season of Last Chance U.

Today Jefé is joined by a legendary figure in the basketball world, Butch Beard! Butch was an All-American at The University of Louisville. He played ten seasons in the NBA, being named to one NBA all-star game in 1972 and winning an NBA Championship with The Golden State Warriors in 1975. After his playing career was over, Butch joined the Knicks coaching staff becoming one of the few black assistant coaches in the NBA. After a brief coaching stint, he joined the Knicks broadcast team, where he was one of the two major African-American broadcasters in American sports. He later went back to coaching, where he successfully took Morgan State University (HBCU) to the NCAA tournament.
