    About this Episode

"I was like, well, holy shit, who am I then? If I'm not their mom, if I'm not their grandma, if I'm not the Raley's girl, who the hell am?!  I used to be somebody before all that." she said.

Losing yourself happens more than people really want to admit. You get stuck in a pattern of doing and being and then you wake up on day saying this very thing, "Holy shit who am I"?

Then there's cultural constructs and other people with whom you are co-creating your reality with and well you lose sight of your own way of being. You get pushed, pulled and held back by the "right" way to be doing something, acting or even just being "yourself".

In this episode my former client Kimberly Kern shares her journey of returning back to her wholeness and the wake up call that made her say, "I need help".

Kimberly decided that it was time for her to stop shoving things away and create the capacity to understand why she was experiencing certain things and how she wanted to experience her life without all the guilt ,shame and other peoples expectations.

She went from  - "There's something wrong with me" and "what do I need to do" to  "is this mine?" (without feeling bad about herself) and "nope that's yours".

She realized that "boundaries are for me not other people!" and that is wasn't her job to fix everything just because she was told she was a "fixer".

She opened her mind to being "empathic" and understanding the deepest parts of herself with love and compassion.

    AND

She experienced for the first time true freedom, joy and self-love more than she had ever thought she had the capacity to do.

If you're thinking to yourself, wow that all sound good, I want that! Reach out to me through this link and let's explore how you can create the freedom, joy, ease in life guilt and shame free. https://www.rachelfreemonsowers.com/Calendar_NorthStarCall

TWO MUST HAVE ingredients for biz success! With Kathryn Thompson

TWO MUST HAVE ingredients for biz success! With Kathryn Thompson

These TWO ingredients are a MUST HAVE to create lasting success in your business.

In this episode of Road to Radical Visibility my guest Kathryn Thompson and I explore the two foundational ingredients that you need to create a successful business.
You might have heard how it is so important to be "yourself" in your business and show up "authentically" but what does that really mean and how do you do it.

So many people (including me) were taught how to be in the world and to find out how you want to be and interact in the world is a journey. A journey we all must take to create the life we want to be living both personally and professionally.

Kathryn and I deep dive into:
    🔥 what it takes,
❤️ how it may look (it can be messy) and
🦄 the rewards of finding our authentic selves (I also call it our true selves)  to create the success we want to have in our businesses. (Note: this does not always include a monetary amount, it can also look like ease, flow, energy...and more).

Have you ever felt the transformative power of being your authentic self? That's a journey our guest, Kathy Thompson, founder of Creatively Owned, knows all too well. With over 15 years as a marketing maven, she turned the spotlight onto herself, choosing to embrace radical visibility and inspiring others to do the same. Listen as she reveals what it truly means to show up as your most authentic self, without the fear of judgment, and propel your business towards unprecedented growth.

In this dynamic conversation, Kathryn gets real and raw (cause that's what we do) as she unfolds her journey of shedding her 'vanilla' persona to become unapologetically herself. She takes us through her transformative journey from camouflaging her identity to proudly owning her narrative and her business.

It's a story of persistence, growth, and authenticity. Hear firsthand how a personal transformation can spark a revolution in your professional life and why it's more essential than ever to be true to yourself in the realm of entrepreneurship.

Kathryn and Rachel offer up their wisdom for overcoming these challenges, particularly for those who are neurodivergent, in minority communities and have felt "othered" their entire lives.

🔥She passionately discusses how radical visibility has become her driving force towards success. Get ready to be inspired by Kathryn's journey, and prepare to be empowered to embrace your own authenticity and light up the world around you.

→ the pressures of not being enough in your business, motherhood, your relationship or any other part of life ,
→ you've been so busy taking care of everyone else you forgot about yourself,
→ wait, this isn't me, what is going on?
    or
→ tired of conforming when everything inside of you says, "oh hell no" but your fear holds you back,
🙌 Then push that play button or get on over to your favorite podcasting platform or my YouTube channel to listen/watch this epic episode.

Get ready to strap in for a real, unfiltered chat with the badass relationship and communication expert, Leah Sefor. She's about to drop some truth bombs on being unapologetically you and why radical visibility is the key to unleashing your power. We're diving deep into the journey of women as they navigate the often expansive and treacherous path of self-discovery, battling against societal expectations. Brace yourself for the harsh reality of seeking validation from external sources and the toll it takes on our quest for authenticity.

But hold on tight, because it's about to get real. We're getting raw and honest about the dark side of motherhood, and the overwhelming shame and guilt that comes with not fitting into society's mold of what a mom should be. Forget about fake it till you make it, because both Leah and I quickly identified this wasn't for us. We're spilling the beans on how we found the confidence to embrace our true selves, flaws and all. Let's get brutally honest, it can feel like a shit show (at times) and we are doing it anyway. You'll learn, feel inspired and motivated to do the same, live 100% as you!

Breaking Free from Negative Self-talk: The Courageous Journey Towards Self-trust w/Samara Lane

Breaking Free from Negative Self-talk: The Courageous Journey Towards Self-trust w/Samara Lane

Have you ever found yourself trapped in an unending cycle of negative self-talk? What if we told you that there was a way to break free from this toxic loop and become radically visible?

Welcome to an empowering conversation with Rachel and Samar where we unravel the power of self-trust, understanding, and forgiveness. We tackle the Buddhist monk analogy, shedding light on how we can step away from the societal constructs that hinder our personal growth.

Our journey doesn't stop there; we push the boundaries of comfort, exposing what lies beneath the surface. We explore what is needed to continuously take those courageous steps to self-trust.  Sarmara shares the deep work that she has done to create the life she desired.

Samara opens up about her path of self-discovery; from her highly sensitive childhood and dealing with anxiety and depression,  struggles with addiction and addictive self-destructive behaviors, to dealing with relationship anxiety. We delve into the raw, unedited life moments that shape who we are and discuss the importance of living authentically despite the anxiety that it may bring.

As we navigate the complexities of authenticity, we uncover the concept of micro-betrayals and their manifestations in daily interactions. We confront the differences in how men and women deal with relationship anxiety and the need for vulnerability. We also address the guilt and shame that may cloud our thoughts and how to liberate ourselves from gender conformities.

We emphasize the importance of self-compassion and wrap up our conversation by exploring positive affirmations as a tool against negative self-talk. Join us, and let's embark on this journey towards self-trust and radical visibility together.

The Best Way to Get Healthy! Release the shame & judgement ❤️ Creating Inclusivity in the online health & wellness space.

Have you ever felt alone in your journey towards health and wellness? Social media content creator and online health coach, Christina Struckmeyer, joins me to share a unique perspective on radical visibility in the online health and wellness world. Christina breaks down her journey of transformation, shedding light on how she's used her platform to empower others, promote kindness, and advocate for inclusivity.

In this candid conversation, we discuss the courage it takes to be open and vulnerable online, the toxic social constructs around body image and the pressures that come with living up to societal expectations in the fitness and wellness industry and explore the importance of breaking free from these norms and learning to live life on your own terms.

We do a deep dive into what it really takes to create inclusivity online and offline in the health and fitness industry. She shares how this it has not only transformed her life, but has also had a significant impact on her emotional and mental health. Together, we navigate the fear of judgment, the pressures of being a content creator, and the power of finding your own path.

From addressing diet toxicity to finding an accountability partner who supports, rather than shames you, we cover it all. We also touch on how to respond to negativity online, turning criticism into a learning experience.

Unleashing the Power of Receiving: Your Journey to more! You deserve it.

Unleashing the Power of Receiving: Your Journey to more! You deserve it.

Are you ready to see and receive the goodness that is waiting for you?

    Have you ever:

Thought that someone else is more worthy than you because of what they have accomplished, where they work, what they do and have or are “nicer” than you?

Deflected a compliment, congratulations or a gift because “it’s not big deal” or “it was really nothing” because it would seem egotistical?

Told yourself “I don’t really need it, it’s not for me, oh never mind, it’s no big deal” or stopped yourself from asking or saying ‘yes’ because of the fear that you might not get what you really want?

I know the feeling. No worries I got you boo!

In this episode I take you outside in the gorgeous Pacific Northwest in Tacoma, Washington and share my personal experiences of how I have learned to receive more and how it has opened up new opportunities for me.

Over the last 6 months I’ve experienced receiving:

💎Working with a mentor from across the globe (who I thought I could never afford),
