In this issue, Ruth Medd, WOB co-founder and inaugural Chair, reviews a selection of PAID vacancies currently on the WOB Jobs Board.

Roles reviewed in this edition focus on the Environmental / circular economy and Housing Bodies, including: a game-changing environmental solution for sustainable agriculture and the natural environment; mining bodies; a regional waste authority; a rural women’s organisation and more.

Housing Body roles reviewed are located in New Zealand and NSW.

Ruth’s tip is to get your collateral in order – don’t wait until you want to apply for a role to update your Board CV, as this is the time you should be focussing on the role you are applying for and how you can add value.

This week Ruth Medd, WOB cofounder and immediate past Chair, reviews a range of board vacancies currently being advertised by Statutory Bodies (which are government entities that generally run businesses or give advice to government).

They generally seek specific skills. Bodies featured include an:

• animal welfare organisation
• organisation promoting responsible gambling
• Aboriginal housing organisation
• organisation listed on the NSX
  and more.
