    S2, E3: E.J. Warner takes over at QB as Temple prepares for Rutgers

    Quarterback E.J. Warner replaced D'Wan Mathis in Temple's 30-14 win over Lafayette last Saturday, and Adam DiMichele talked about what he saw from the true freshman on his two touchdown passes and in his overall performance.

    In addition to answering listener questions from the mailbag, Adam and OwlScoop.com editor John DiCarlo also previewed Saturday's homecoming game against Rutgers and what the Owls will have to do to pull off the upset at Lincoln Financial Field.

    On the other side of the ball, Adam talked about the growth of redshirt junior outside linebacker Layton Jordan, a player Adam helped recruit out of McKeesport High School during his time as a Temple assistant. Jordan leads the Owls with 2.5 sacks and will be counted upon Saturday if Temple wants to beat a heavily-favored 2-0 Rutgers team.
