In it, Dr. Kuttner, a professor at the University of Utah, writes about how multiple perspectives inform his definition of school belonging. We discuss the importance of agency, intersectionality, systems, and others.

I bet you were starting to wonder if we were ever coming back. We are BACK! We are so excited to emerge from our six months of deep thinking, coding, and writing. Dr. Schonebrodt is a Professor at Loyola University Maryland and co-founder of Leadability, an organization whose mission is to provide services to support programs and curricula that train people to effectively and respectfully work with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Ms. Kayla Grange identifies as an autistic adult and is a Self-Advocate Educator (SAE) at Leadability. In our conversation we explore definitions of belonging and the work of belonging for and with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
