New York Is Historically Bad
We were on scene for New York City FC's first home opener loss in history. The team has to set things right against Toronto.
NYCFC came out looking as flat as ever, but we can't catch a break with these MLS refs. The softest penalty awarded gives Houston +3 points and sends us home packing. That said, it was positive to get Richy going, he was one of the only players that looked up to it on the night. We're looking forward to the Revs game, hopefully he can get some more minutes.

NYCFC's on pace to score 0 goals and get 0 points this season. Things will need to change in these next 2 home games. We'll be attending both games!
We share our Over / Unders on Blue City Radio's and the Blue Ball's categories for NYCFC's 2024 season.
We're back with the first episode of our fifth season.

That's all folks, NYCFC has missed the playoffs for the first time since the inaugural season.
We're above the playoff line, but we're headed to Miami. Every result we needed went our way this weekend and every game remains a must-win. Luckily, all 3 of our remaining games our against teams below us, allowing us to control our playoff destiny.
I guess we're back! (this might age poorly) But, after the slow start and a penalty that put us ahead, we looked like the old NYCFC, the good NYCFC, the confident NYCFC. Baki got his goal, Jasson was a killer on the right wing, and Talles scored for the first time in 5 MONTHS. Let's keep rolling.
It's feeling like the season is chalked after dropping points in the Bronx vs. Vancouver and Maxi going down with an ACL. We share our analysis on the game, our honest thoughts on Cushing, and more.
(sorry for the crickets lol, first day at the new stu, it's hot in there and we didn't shut the window, will fix for future eps)
There are a lot of questions and speculation in the NYCFC community about the club and Cushing. Is his job safe? Is the club punting away 2023? Did Cushing have any involvement with Chanot leaving? & much more. But, there's nothing like a win to monetarily quiet everything. Making the playoffs seems like an impossible task, but with a win at home, and 4 home games upcoming, we basically need to win out. Luckily, it's another Canadian team on the weekend.
We discuss the Cincinnati game, the Montréal game, Chanot's departure, and what we think a 2024 roster might look like, coaching and player-wise.
We thought the break might fix NYCFC, but we're still where we were when we left. The new guys have arrived but the results are the same. With 9 games left in the season the playoff hopes are dwindling and there aren't much positives to look towards at the moment.
