About this Episode
We’ve been looking at 15 hymns from the book of Psalms (120-134), originally sung by Jewish worshippers on their pilgrimage to God’s Temple in Jerusalem. They are called “Songs of Ascent” since they speak of ascending to the Temple, which was located atop Mount Zion in Jerusalem. Though they were originally for the Hebrews on their long journey, they matter a lot to us, because we too are traveling, by faith, as believers in Christ Jesus. Pastor Marc Sharp continues the series today with part 4 by narrowing our focus, desiring not only to see the glories of God’s dwelling in the grandeur of the hills alone, or the Temple on Mount Zion; but we want to see God himself in his majesty!
