For quite some time now, I've had numerous requests for a high-quality freestyle mix. This isn't one of my go-to styles, but it is something I enjoy playing at private parties, so I stretched my usual 15-20 minute set into a full two hours, mixing in some crate diggers and vintage cuts with a few sweet treats.

On this edition - we decided to go a little lite with no guest mixer or no guests in general - and focus just on the music. I decided to play some of my favorite nu-disco tunes - some fresh tech house edits and then a nice memory stroll to the early 2000s and late 90s.

We are going to have the opportunity to sit down with him and discuss his incredible career on the radio dial as well as what he has been up to with his most recent new program. He bestows to us a number of wonderful novels and tales from the past.

In this episode, we reveal his story of how he got into the business and feature the incredibly talented DJ Ed Swift. Ed is not like other incredibly great DJs, and we learn how he got his start. We proceed with our discussion on whether socks should be worn with sandals, but this time we diverge onto the topic of crocs. I really hope you get a kick out of this edition of electric candy.

Christopher Martinez, better known by his stage name Cmvib3, is a music producer and DJ based out of Santa Barbara, California. Chris has been working with several local musicians on music production, mixing, and collaborations. In addition to that, he has been seen at numerous club venues, radio shows, concerts, dessert parties, and underground parties in the local area. When he is not performing, he spends his time working in his studio, where he comes up with new music and ideas that he can then share with both his friends and his followers.

On this edition of Electric Candy, we welcome Guest DJ Alex Perez, who is also a remixer and artist on homewerxmusic. Alex Perez is a member of the DJ Experience Private Events firm. 

We had the opportunity to discuss about a variety of interesting topics, one of which was his EP titled "La Fiesta," which is currently accessible on all streaming platforms. 

In addition, we have included some music by homewerxmusic as well as some brand new, trendy rhythms on this edition.

Alex Perez Bio

Alex Perez has always had a deep appreciation for music, even from a young age. He was raised in a home where music was always playing, and he was exposed to a wide variety of genres, from disco from the 1970s through hip-hop, house, and funk music. Alex is more than just your regular DJ since he has a universal appeal that surpasses the norm and he brings over 20+ years of experience with him. Alex is one of the few DJs in the modern music world who can claim to have technical mastery of the DJing art form, which is considered to be a lost art. He is able to blend, scratch, cut, mix, spin, and combine all of these characteristics with a musical sensibility that is able to accommodate people of any class, race, and culture. In the end, his ability to blend songs from a wide variety of musical genres has established him as one of the most influential and in-demand DJs in the music industry.
Alex Perez is able to adjust his sets to be appropriate for every audience, be it in a club or at a more formal function. Because of his extraordinary capacity to gauge the mood of an audience, he is widely regarded as one of the most respected DJs working in the industry at the present time. Alex Perez is widely considered to be one of the most accomplished open-format wedding professionals.
