    About this Episode

Back to back days, with guests in different area codes? How do they do it? That's simple. Magic. MaliBuckeye and I are at it again this afternoon, as we are joined by award winning film maker Bob DeMars to talk about his upcoming documentary "The Business of Amateurs." Mali and I talk to Bob about the state of college football and the definition of the student athlete, plus the great work he is putting into this documentary and how he would fix the current issues in the college football landscape and the issues that scholarship athletes face. We highly recommend you check out the trailer to his upcoming project before listening to the show. Feel Free to view that below. Bob is an award-winning filmmaker with over a decade of experience producing, writing, and directing. In 2009 he produced his first documentary “Adjust Your Color: The Truth of Petey Greene”, which was narrated by Don Cheadle. The film was distributed by PBS’s “Independent Lens” and went on to win the program’s Audience Award for the year. He received his degree from USC's Marshall School of Business. He played defensive end for USC from three different head coaches at USC from 1997-2001. We also invite you to check out the "Business of Amateurs" Kickstarter page, where over 20,000 dollars have already been raised to defray post production and traveling costs. Thanks to Bob for joining us. Enjoy the show!

Oh, and we get you ready for Illinois/Ohio State on Saturday too! Joe and Clair also talk about the current state of football through the recent bullying scandal in Miami, Where this coaching staff could end up after the season and how Luke Fickell could be a wanted commodity by more than just Florida Atlantic. One school that comes up is the winless Miami of Ohio program. This and much more on the program this week! Thanks for listening! And make sure you listen in on Itunes!

Joe and Clair preview Saturday's game, talk targeting, Lebron James on the gridiron, and the disgrace that is the NCAA in regards to their recent ruling after a 2 1/2 year investigation into the Miami Hurricane program. We are then joined by Mark Wogenrich, who covers Penn State for the Allentown Morning Call. Wogenrich breaks down what it's like covering Bill O'Brien, the talent of true freshman Christian Hackenberg, the fanbase mindset after the recent reduction in penalties handed down by the NCAA, and how their ruling in the Miami investigation is a kick in the gut of Nittany Lion fans. You know it's hate week when we are dropping F-bombs and wishing everything but the best to our opponent. And that my friends, is what this week's episode of the Radio Hour is all about!tbbc Radio Hour itunes With Wisconsin on the mind, there was only one person to bring in to remind us of the hatred we have for Bucky. It was great to have my main man Eric back on the show to break down Saturday's showdown with #24 Wisconsin. Eric is the Rodney Dangerfield of the site. Cause that dude's got no respect -- no respect for the Badgers. Eric and I look at Saturday night's game from an Ohio State perspective and also break down the latest from the department of Idiocy. We then get the Wisconsin viewpoint from Bleacher Report's Andy Coppens. Coppens breaks it down Badger style (that's a scary visual image) and gives us his thoughts on the three headed rushing attack, Joel Stave's wonderment and the best defense in the B1G. Thanks to Andy and the staff at Mad Town Badgers for the great collaboration over the week. You can also find Andy's work on the Big Ten over at Bleacher Report's B1g Blog.
