The Bettor’s Box MLB Betting Podcast July 29, 2019

Host Adam Burke was back to kick off a new work week with the July 29 edition of The Bettor’s Box. Usually we start with a Monday Mailbag segment, but with no questions for this week, he went right on into the Beyond the Box Score segment to look at Dodgers vs. Nationals, Yankees vs. Red Sox, Giants vs. Padres, and Brewers vs. Cubs. He touched on some Trade Deadline stuff and then gave an update on batting stats vs. pitch types to find some good information for you to use in your daily handicapping.

Today’s top pick actually preceded the Down the Lines segment because it was relative to some of those stats. A recap of the betting odds from Friday through today gave way to a preview of the week ahead, as we really have some good series on the docket this week. Braves vs. Nationals, Astros vs. Indians, Twins vs. Marlins, Rays vs. Red Sox, and Cubs vs. Cardinals were under the spotlight to wrap up the show.
