Andrew is under the weather! So welcome to the first installment of Scotty's Alone Time. In this episode, he goes it alone. He talks a bit about some stuff that's been on his mind, and then he discusses the 1985 Italian horror film, "Demons"!

"Demons" was directed by Lamberto Bava and written and produced by Dario Argento. A bunch of people are invited to watch a screening at a movie theater in Berlin. After one of them scratches her face on a metal mask in the lobby, she turns into a murderous demon and chaos ensues.

The body and the blood!

In this episode, Scotty and Andrew go into the woods to perform a séance in a hole in the ground as they discuss "The Exorcist: Believer". And at the end of the episode, Andrew chooses their next movie, so stay tuned until the end!

"The Exorcist: Believer" was directed by David Gordon Green. It's the first in a planned trilogy of sequels to the original "The Exorcist", which we discussed in October of 2023! In this movie, two girls get possessed by the same demon after attempting to contact one girl's dead mother.

"Maybe we don't belong down here."

Andrew and Scotty take a relaxing  trip to bottom of the ocean with some friends as they discuss "Underwater". Scotty also talks about almost seeing "Night Swim", and at the end of the episode, Andrew chooses their next movie!

"Underwater" was directed by William Eubank and stars Kristen Stewart as an engineer working on a drilling rig at the bottom of the ocean, when all hell breaks loose and throws her and others into emergency situation after situation. They soon discover they aren't alone down there.

Is dead really better? Scotty is once again joined by Stanley, of The Gory Gays podcast, as they continue their journey through the "Pet Sematary" franchise. This time, they're discussing the 1992 sequel to the original movie, "Pet Sematary Two". "Pet Sematary Two", again directed Mary Lambert, introduces us to new characters, Jeff and Chase Matthews, played by Edward Furlong and Anthony Edwards. After the tragic death of Renee, Jeff's mother and Chase's ex-wife, they move together to Ludlow, Maine, where Jeff is befriended by Drew. When Drew's dog is killed, he and Jeff bury him in the burial grounds beyond the Pet Sematary, and the dead rising cycle begins anew.

Andrew and Scotty take wagers on who would win in a title fight between Santa Claus vs. Krampus as they discuss the 2015 holiday horror anthology, "A Christmas Horror Story". "A Christmas Horror Story" was directed by Grant Harvey, Steven Hoban, and Brett Sullivan. It's made up of four different stories that take place in the fictional town of Bailey Downs. In one story, three young people go down into the basement of St. Joseph's Academy to investigate the deaths of two others that happened a year prior. In a second story, a family goes to cut down their Christmas tree on private land. Their son briefly goes missing, but reappears very much changed. In the next story, a different family encounters Krampus himself. And finally, in the fourth story, something starts to infect the elves at the North Pole, and Santa and Mrs. Claus have to fight for their lives. All of these stories intersect and are tied together by William Shatner as radio DJ Dangerous Dan, who is hosting his yearly Christmas double shift.

The main, Uriel, must be cleaned by a professional, or they risk the demon spreading from animals to people.
