Millennials Want to Live Outside the 9-to-5
Millennials don’t necessarily want to do more work than other generations, they just want to be able to do the same amount of work in a more flexible schedule. In fact, when flexibility is leveraged work productivity increases and the volume of work can increase. Many Millennials don’t see a reason for spending eight straight hours working, but would rather work at various times throughout the day with breaks in between. Generally this cohort doesn’t have a problem doing some work on a Sunday evening, but also want to be able to run a few errands on Wednesday afternoon.

The employer-based model in the salon industry is shrinking as salon professionals move to freelance work arrangements o There is tremendous pressure on salon professionals to move to freelance situations where there are fewer rules, regulations and tax reporting oversight. o Providing these small business salons with the Section 45B FICA tax tip credit would provide liquidity to reopen their businesses and pay employees, with a source of funds in the future to repay loans and keep their businesses open. o When salons are able to reopen, they will have an easier time retaining their employees because they will have certainty that the FICA tax imposed on tips their employees receive from third parties (these tips are not revenue for the business) will be reimbursed and will not increase their financial burden.

Soon after the pandemic started over a year ago, Americans started joking about the dreaded “quarantine 15,” worried they might gain weight while shut in homes with stockpiles of food, glued to computer screens and binge-watching Netflix.

everything we consume will either heal us or poison us | ADAPT OR FAIL | GINNY&GEORGIA HURT TAYLOR'S FEELING| Crossfit Pain

surrounding yourself with the best so you can be your best. Gaining weight and losing weight. 10 years since the passing of Aubrey. Why do some people make you feel so bad while others make you feel so good? Realizing that everything we consume will either heal us or poison us. Who are we nourishing ourselves with?

    Essential Food
Nothing can survive without food. Everything we consume acts either to heal us or to poison us. We tend to think of nourishment only as what we eat through our mouths; but what we consume with our eyes, our ears, our nose, our tongue, and our body is also food. The conversations going on around us, and those we participate in, are also food. Are we consuming and creating the kind of food that is healthy for us and helps us grow?

We talk about all aspects of being in business together as father and daughter and challenges of family business, hair salons, operating in a pandemic and many other operational day in the life of happenings.
