    About this Episode

    Hi All,

Money is one of the most important things in our lives next to family and loved ones.

In fact, we spend 40 years and 90,000 hours of our lives working for 1s and 0s and pieces of paper not backed by anything.

In todays podcast, I go into discussing the importance of understanding our money.
    - Always looking at money from a historical lens
    - What we work for in the majority of our lives
    - Why is tech so advanced but not money and core infrastructure
    - Not just leveraging the convenience of money, but the actual architecture and policy around it

I urge everyone to start studying money both historically, and question and ask themselves what qualities would the ideal money have.

Why You Never Own Things & How Bitcoin Fixes This!

Why You Never Own Things & How Bitcoin Fixes This!

    Hey SatsMate Crew,

As time passes, we see individuals owning fewer things and large multinational companies/private equity firms are becoming more and more valuable.

I don't see this trend reversing because many companies have built wide moats around their business to keep their strides strong and continue growing at the expense of nothing else.

In the end, self-custody is critically important, but also we must do what we can to try and own things outright in this world. We often make payments on so many things, and in the end, we end up with close to nothing. This is a sad way to live! Specifically, in this podcast, I discuss the following topics:

    - Property taxes and people "owning their home", the reality of home ownership
    - 12 words being banned and what ownership is
    - Subscription models on everything, having no ownership in this world
    - Homes being bought up by private equity companies that bow down to shareholders and the dollar
    - Debt-based slavery
    - Taxation of the middle class
    - Everything is designed to break in the consumerist society we find ourselves in
    - Media companies normalizing the ownership of nothing and the renting of everything

What are your thoughts on the ownership of things? Are you fine owning less and less, and letting large private equity firms buy everything up?

I know the convenience is worth it on some things, but it hollows out the American dream. I'd love to hear everyone thoughts on this! Thanks for tuning in.

    The Largest Misconceptions of Bitcoin!!!

    The Largest Misconceptions of Bitcoin!!!

    Hey SatsMate Crew,

As the price rises over all-time highs, many people who haven't gotten into Bitcoin now more than ever start bringing up many beginner questions and assumptions about the asset.

In today's podcast, I work to debunk a lot of these criticisms and provide a level head of thought. Specifically in this podcast, I go over important misconceptions such as:

    - Being too late to Bitcoin
    - Bitcoin being used for drugs and illicit activity
    - Whales holding a lion's share of the total supply
    - Satoshi not being known or Satoshi being evil
    - Enough supply being made available for everyone
    -  Government Ban
    - EMP, Nuclear or no internet
    - The code being changed
    - Deflation is bad for the world
    - Bitcoin being too hard to understand
    - Energy implications and Bitcoin mining
    - Volatility of bitcoin
    - Nowhere to spend bitcoin

Overall these are some of the biggest misconceptions I have heard of over the past couple of weeks and years as people first enter this space.

In the end, we need to do our best to study this asset, and understand that nothing is perfect - it is we humans that do good work to try and optimize the assets and the world we live in. What are your thoughts on these misconceptions? Is there one you would like me to drill in on a standalone podcast?

I enjoyed putting this one together. Please be sure to comment, like, and sub!

Socialism & Taxing the Unrealized Gains of Bitcoin!

Socialism & Taxing the Unrealized Gains of Bitcoin!

    Hi SatsMate Crew,

In the coming decades, we are going to see more and more countries try to implement tax measures against people who hold bitcoin.

Our country and many countries around the world rely on deficit spending to provide goods and services to citizens within their respective country. If the government can't print bitcoin, and bitcoin is the new monetary base layer what are they going to do?

I look at this similar to housing in the United States. Many of us can be "homeowners", but the reality of the situation is you are renting from the government as you are paying yearly property taxes.

While I don't want this situation to come true, I think it warrants a discussion and some pondering. In todays podcast I go over:

    - Authoritarians/Socialists around the world want to clamp down on Bitcoiners
    - Many saw something that most normies and bureacrats never saw
    - In Australia, there are proposals to introduce a 30% tax on unrealized gains
    - The start of more measures, even a 1% tax on unrealized gains is too far
    - With these controls, people will move to other countries, people will buy non-kyc and there will be a brain drain

Overall what are your thoughts on this? I am sure everyone completely agrees, this is one of the worst things that can be implemented and will be a net negative in terms of freedom, and prosperity in one of the best countries/western nations in the world. Please speak up against this and do what you can to fight against socialism and authoritarianism!

When Does Money Die in the 21st Century?!

When Does Money Die in the 21st Century?!

    Hey SatsMate Crew,

In today's podcast, I aim to explore when money dies in the 21st century. As many of us know, money over extended periods tends to be debased and loses purchasing power. It happens so slowly that often it is hard to tell, but it happens.

What is unfortunate about monetary debasement is that it happens slowly and impacts those who are the poorest of us - those who don't hold hard assets. The interesting thing about all this, is many of us just go into debt, live paycheck to paycheck, and accept this as the reality of the situation.

In today's podcast I go over monetary debasement over time and ways I go to protect myself:

    - The current book I'm reading called When Money Dies (link below/non-referral)
    - Discuss my Uber driver's story solo v family
    - 6 Figure earners living paycheck to paycheck
    - Periods of calm and bust with inflation
    - Politicians redirecting blame from FED/Government to businesses
    - The lie of 4% inflation per year and the reality of where inflation sits
    - The reality of the problem and where its at instead of price gouging

Overall, most currencies around the world have died throughout history, and while some do last longer than others - the story always remains the same. They always will eventually trend towards $0 against hard assets in the medium and long term, while concurrently giving the illusion of stability in the short term.

I hope everyone enjoyed this! What do you think about money and when it will die? Do you believe it will continue to live on throughout this century or do you think some new fiat currency will swoop in to save it? I'd love to hear your thoughts!

All support is always appreciated and please share around if you enjoyed it!

The European Central Bank & JP Morgan Attack Bitcoin!!!

The European Central Bank & JP Morgan Attack Bitcoin!!!

    Hi Everyone,

We are seeing a lot of traditional finance allocators, money managers, bankers, and bureaucrats trying to seek and understand what Bitcoin is. Many of them have been experiencing FOMO as the asset has been going parabolic lately.

In today's podcast, I will go over a recent attack that the ECB mentioned stating it is used for illicit activity. Yes, we've been here before and this is not shocking whatsoever. Specifically, I will go over:

    - Entrenched finance stating that it has failed to become a decentralized currency, falling to fraud and manipulation
    - The surface-level arguments that it is slow, costly, and inconvenient
    - Nickname calling, when in the end the emperor in no clothes is fiat currency backed by trust
    - Where we are seeing real fraud in this world
    - The speed and convenience of Bitcoin
    - The debasement of the USD and Euro over the past century losing almost 99.5% of purchasing power
    - Rent seekers claiming that it is deadbeat based on illicit reasons, centralization, and bad technology

Overall, I enjoyed putting this one together. What do you think about the ECB and JPM attacking bitcoin? Where do you think we go from here with attacks by these players?

I appreciate all the support as always!

Bitcoin Pac-Manning the Worlds Largest Currencies!!!

Bitcoin Pac-Manning the Worlds Largest Currencies!!!

    Hey All,

It is insane to look at the charts from fiatmarketcap.com and watch Bitcoin overtake many of the world's largest currencies one by one. Over time, I believe it will slowly demonetize all fiat currencies, but so far it has already done many incredible things!

In this podcast, I go over many important things such as:

    - The traditional safe currency the Swiss Franc getting passed up by Bitcoin and the historic upsides of this
    - The passing up of MXN, Turkish Lira, Swedish Krona and Ruble
    - Understanding where we go from here as many of the world's most valuable assets have already been passed up - even though we have a ways to go on many others
    - When will we see the changing of the guards when it comes to currencies?
    - The ultimate path of bitcoin

Overall I think it is a beautiful sight to see! What do you guys think, and when do you think the USD, Euro, and Yen will get passed up? 10 Years, 15 Years, or Never?

I'd love to hear your thoughts, and as always I appreciate everyone's support!

    How Normies Look at Bitcoin!

    How Normies Look at Bitcoin!

    Hi All,

People are always obsessing over price whether it's the price of the latest car, the nicest bag from Louis V, or a house in a nice neighborhood.

I get it, price is a big factor in this world. Many of us want to get the biggest bang for our buck and optimize our value while living a life of opulence/freedom or the way we want.

Over the past couple of weeks, several normies have woken up to Bitcoin as its price has started to move. In today's podcast, I go over the following points:

    - Price, price, and price - trading to get rich!
    - Looking at Bitcoin still as a cryptocurrency instead of a base money
    - Explosive prices on the upside and downside due to ETF demand
    - Cooling of the asset due to its extremely hot runup over the past couple of weeks
    - Tight supply and Wall Street Fomo
    - Speculation of normies and lack of foresight into fundamentals

These are some of my thoughts on how normies look at Bitcoin, what do you think when it comes to this asset? Do you think they have it all wrong and are focused too much on the short term?

I appreciate everyones support and love podcasting on the daily. Have a good one :)

Why a Return to Zero Percent Interest Rates Could Cause Hyperinflation. Bitcoin to Infinity?

Why a Return to Zero Percent Interest Rates Could Cause Hyperinflation. Bitcoin to Infinity?

    Hi All,

There is a lot of talk about how we may see rate cuts this year. From my view, if we see rate cuts we will see the economy potentially heat up again. If we see a return to ZIRP (Zero Interest Rate Policy), there is a high risk of hyperinflation.

As we can see throughout the economy, ZIRP has exacerbated the have and have-nots significantly over the past several years - returning to this would just widen that divide even more.

Specifically in this podcast, I go over:

    - Bitcoin remains elevated even though interest rates are at several decade highs
    - The euphoria when rates drop and Bitcoin achieves price discovery
    - All hard assets and things that can't be created out of thin air will rocket
    - Prices for the average working American going parabolic

It is terrifying to see how these enormous bubbles have been created because of the Federal Reserve, but also the wealth divide become more pronounced. A higher longer stance will be the best for inflation to come down and the bubbles to let air out. How am I positioning right now? I am personally staying in cash, bitcoin, and some other investments.

Let me know what your thoughts are if we re-enter ZIRP. Love all your support.

    Best,

    SatsMate

FOMO On Bitcoin, FOMO On Stocks, FOMO On All!!!

FOMO On Bitcoin, FOMO On Stocks, FOMO On All!!!

    Hey Sats Crew,

Wow, the past couple of days has been insane in Bitcoin. We have seen tremendous price action in Bitcoin and many other assets.

In today's society, it is very easy to get FOMO for a whole variety of reasons. I think FOMO is one of the worst reasons to invest in something. We make decisions for the wrong reasons, and we end up getting hurt.

In life, we need to invest in something for the right reasons. In today's podcast, I go over the following:

    - Keeping up with the Jones's
    - Fear of Missing out and what that means across all assets and industries
    - The importance of getting into something for the right reasons
    - Other assets we get FOMO in
    - In life, others gain in certain things, its important to manage expectations

I'm curious though, what are your thoughts on FOMO? Did you experience any over the past couple of weeks? I'm sitting happy and fine right now personally - and I am ready to make every day count.

I would love to hear everyone's thoughts.

Getting Debased to No End! A USD Currency Collapse?!

Getting Debased to No End! A USD Currency Collapse?!

    Hi All,

In today's day and age, we are seeing things run hotter than ever before. In many stores across the countries items that used to run for $1,$2, and $3 now run for $6,$7, and $8.

I think over the past couple of years we saw the real rate of inflation closer to 30%-60%

Recently I took a trip to the store, and I was shocked to see a lot of the prices. In today's podcast, I go over:

    - Bitcoin being a position against strong inflation numbers
    - Where does the inflation end with neck-snapping numbers month over month and year after year
    - Federal Reserve money printing & printing for wars/political reasons
    - Other hedges to position oneself against inflation
    - People living paycheck to paycheck and recession indicators getting felt

These are some of my thoughts on the craziness we are seeing with inflation! I believe Bitcoin is a decent hedge against all this madness with money printing, but what do you think? Are there hedges that you are using to better handle all the money printing?

    Best Regards,
