The History of @DadBoner with Mike Burns

The History of @DadBoner with Mike Burns

Mike Burns is back. The best man in Brido's wedding. We know a lot of you are fans of his through the DadBoner Twitter account. I’ll say this later, but if you don’t know what that is, none of this will make sense. So do a deep dive when you have a chance.

But basically Burns created a fictional character named Karl Welzein who lived in Grand Blanc Michigan. Then created an entire narrative and universe of characters and storyline on Twitter. And he did it anonymously for years until an investigative journalist uncovered his identity.

Since then there have been book deals and podcasts and TV pilots and documentaries. So today we thought I’d go through the history of that account with Mike Burns.
