We're in the middle of a slow motion fascist takeover. GOP is making it harder to vote, kicking people off the voter rolls, and giving states the power to overturn elections. Massive Democratic turnout isn't the whole solution, but it's necessary first step.

The debt ceiling doesn't need to exist. It causes a lot of harm and does no good. Until we can get rid of it, POTUS needs to pressure the business community to put the Republicans in their place, and to prevent them from using the debt ceiling to take the economy hostage
