For the first episode of the year, we bring in a guest that I, the Mad Conservative thought I'd never interview. When we recorded this, it went two hours and 45 minutes. Afterward we pared it down to just under two hours. Who was it we interviewed for that amount of time? It may be a surprise to some, upsetting to others, but I could not pass up doing this interview. Tonight, our guest is the promoter of Powerhouse Wrestling of which will be running in Streator this Saturday - "The Crusher" Tim Lyle. We go back in time to recall the beginnings of Powerhouse, what the landscape was like back in the 1990s, how the wrestling commission came to an end in Illinois, thoughts on Jay Repsel who named Lyle one of his major influences, and we attempt to clear the air with our past disagreements. Hosted by the Mad Conservative.

In this edition of the NBS Podcast we interview the CEO of the Wabash Talent Agency Dickie Wabash. We discuss his career in managing, how it benefits wrestlers to have a manager, his clients, and how he got into the scene. Also thoughts on the NBS 25 and possible nominations for the NBS Awards. And to start the program, discussion on promos cut by heels crossing into taboo territory causing backstage heat. Hosted by the Mad Conservative Crimefighter.

In this edition of the podcast we have a pair of guests to talk about upcoming shows in September. We first bring in referee Tim Givens to talk about the Beardstown Beatdown, a rare western Illinois event on Sept. 27th. And later we bring in a representative from Pro Wrestling Glory, Kyle Philips to talk about his engineering of Spencer Powers as champion and other deeds that are questionable. Hosted by the Mad Conservative, who also calls out alleged promotion full of folks who have no gear nor training that managed to get themselves booked in festival.

The Nose Bleed Seats - December 3, 2013
In this edition of the podcast we got a request from a southern Illinois wrestler to appear on the program - so we in our quest for wrestling community outreach interviewed "Zesty" Zakk Sawyer. Zakk insists you'll really LIKE this interview as we talk about how he got into the sport, the promotions he's worked in thus far, what's going on with PWC & CPW, a bizarre incident in SNPW that gets Crimefighter ranting, and someone deservedly gets buried. MOAV5706 and the Mad Conservative also run through and discuss the local wrestling news items of the week.

The Nose Bleed Seats - August 28, 2013
On the podcast for this edition - our guest is America's Evil Genius and manager Travis Cook! We ask about the lost art of managers in the wrestling business, what they add to a wrestler, cutting promos, the clients he represents and his fight literally against city hall at SICW. We also go into his America's Evil Genius program and discuss topics where wrestling and politics intersect, the frustrations endured by conservatives against the establishment, and the top five issues facing the country. We also look at the St. Louis Wrestling scene, the dispute between SICW vs. NWA Central States, the MMWA-SICW divorce, why central Illinois isn't represented in St. Louis, and more. The Mad Conservative also takes a hard look at why wrestling events are not drawing in Springfield and gives his theory as to why...and it's not due to "lack of promotion."
