First a riff on how, with my hair, the look I’m going for is “Middle Aged Jesus”. And then moving from a state of busy overwhelm and a little sleeplessness to everything is happening when, and where, and how it’s supposed to. So love it. Bottom line is the summit is just a representation of, and my insecurities around the summit are just magnifications of, my insecurities around life…

The look I’m going, with my hair, middle aged Jesus. Said with love and no disrespect to Jesus or any Jesus believers out there.
But then as I saw my hair getting fuller and bigger, i thought… All the pictures I’ve seen of Jesus, he does not have as much hair as I do. His is maybe a little stringier, it’s long. Shoulder length, but it’s not quite as full and curly. A little more danglier curls. Maybe that’s because they didn’t shower as much back in the day…
Again, no disrespect to Jesus, but my hair is a little fuller. So middle aged Samson, that’s the look I’m going for.
I keep having this interesting experience of being pushed to the limit relative to time and what I’m capable of doing. Then I have that peak experience, slight overwhelm state, what is happening around here? How is this gonna get done?
Then I will get a key bit done… Yesterday it was creating some templates for speakers, some responses. It seems sometimes like people don’t like templating responses because they feel it de-personalizes it. But you can do a template and have it still be personal… the details can be templated, but you make it personal around that.
We called it “one-timing” it back in the mortgage business. “One Time” it. If you are going to be sending the same thing lots of times, create it one time so then you can automate it. People know it is the important stuff I need to know, and they don’t need it re-typed every time to feel special.
Anyhow, the peak overwhelm state, is making for a few sleepless nights… So I’ve been going to god. Like in the middle of the night, hey god :). The dogma less god…
I woke up at 4:30… Went to my hour mediation. Which have been awesome my meditations are really good right now.
Although I might not be having the transcendent experiences because I’m not doing it right… According to some Kriya Yoga practitioners.
But I had the opposite of the overwhelm this morning. I had the, everything is fine, everything is ok, everything its supposed to happen, and it’s gonna happen the way its supposed to happen. I am in good hands and I am free of the attachment of how when or what is gonna go down, and it’s gonna go down the way it’s supposed to. And I love that!
How am I gonna edit the interviews for the podcast, edit the interviews for the summit, perhaps a who? A really cool ideas came to me of who I could repurpose bits of the summit interviews for the podcast and it would be promotional at the same time.
The right information is going to come at the right time. You do not need to worry. And that feels good. And having that free of the expectation of whats going to come of it. The attachment of how when and where has slipped away. At least in this moment. The right stuff is gonna happen at the right time. And not only for the summit but for life.
Everything is happening when, and where, and how it’s supposed to. So love it.
