This ties into a book Swirv introduced to Leen called The Courage to be Disliked and they go over some of the takeaways and lessons that resonated with them. Lastly, they discuss how the government is investing in a new railway project for the upcoming Olympics and how easily they neglect funding things like healthcare for their taxpayers. On this week's episode Swirv and Leen go down various subjective and objective paths between some very divisive topics. They first discuss the rise of sassy men and how it has translated into social media in comparison to societal structure and expectations. They conclude there is only one way to improve intersectionality between men and women; we have to accept shifting from our own perceptions to different perspectives, as discussed from a clip on the Lex Fridman podcast with ex-CIA agent Andrew Bustamante. What better way to connect it all than to bring up the higher power sharing verses from the Bible and Quran that have shaped their perceptions on life and themselves? They end it off on a higher note reflecting on a legendary Kobe quote, gossip from the sports world and high thoughts about the ending of the Loki series. On this week's episode Swirv and Leen share some favorite Halloween candies, AI generated memes as seen on Instagram, while exploring the toxic culture and why it's so entertaining. They next dive into their top 3 favorite sexual/graphic songs of their generation and discuss how music plays into today's toxic influences. Keeping the balance of toxic and wholesome, they also discuss some songs that gave them goosebumps as it relates to a recent study on a mental condition called frisson, resulting in an emotional stimulus from music. Leen shares her hot take of what it might mean to literally be one of the boys, when girls become the victimizers of men, as it relates to the culture of toxic immaturity today. Lastly, they answer some Q&A regarding their biggest regrets in life and tips on acceptance.
