*“I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.” 
Fear is a perpetual enemy for many believers and non-believers. However, God has given us a remedy and prescription for overcoming fear. According to Psalm 34:4, we are encouraged to seek the Lord for deliverance from fear. Knowing God has provided a cure for whatever our affliction is.

God has given us power to tread and trample upon Serpents. He has promised that we would tread on the Lion and the Adder. We must fight against The Jebusite spirit of Trampling that seeks to trample our confidence, joy, love, and prosperity. As we enter this 12th month we understand that 12 is the number in scripture that denotes government and authority(12 apostles, 12 tribes).

We need the light of God to shine in our hearts and give us a path of singlemindedness. Doublemindedness is the effect of brokenness and rejection. But as we allow the light of the word of God to shine in our hearts and as we learn how to become skillful in proclaiming his word amidst temptation, we will find our walk with God becoming more and more illuminated with every passing day. it is time to increase. It is the season to grow more and more, stronger and stronger each day.

We are in a new series: The War for Territory!
Just like Israel entered the promised land that was filled with enemies they had to evict. So the believer enters the promise land of salvation and must dispossess every spiritual enemy that takes up residence in our heart mind and soul!
Remember that you are Israel and that the spirit of the living God is at war against the enemies within us. Don’t think that you are not saved because you are in a struggle or you are battling with an addiction. We are in a war for territory and the territory is the precious space within our soul!

When life happens how do we as Christians respond? Do we run from God when we experience trauma, dissapointment or hurt? No matter how life seems to injury us we should rest comfortably in the hands of God. In God's hands there is no trauma too great, no pain too hurtful and no failure too low for God to reshape, reform and renew! 

Criminal justice reform, the disproportinate number of African Americans that are currently incarcerated and over policed communitiess are not just a secular issue but an issue of justice. The Truth is that God is concerned about equity, equality, and fairness. Leigh Owens is the executive director of the Penn Franchise Project: a newly formed organization aimed at ushering in a regime of grace, and equity in disenfranchised communites with regards to the criminal justice system.

How does a person change course in life when it is beyond their physical, emotional, and mental power to do so? The Apostle Paul was not always a servant of Jesus Christ but was a persecutor of the church that caused many Christians to be imprisioned and killed for following Jesus. 
How do we explain such a dramatic change of course. Paul had a supernatural experience on a road called Demascus where he was on his way to capture more Christians.
In order to break addiction, destructive behavior and a harmful rebellious lifestyle, we need what I call a Demascus experience.

In this episode of the Truth Proclaimed Podcast, Aaron Owens speaks to us from Psalm 38.  The Psalmist is confessing sin to God in the most sincerest manner possible. Could it be that many of the deep issues we are dealing with internally, as a people, a community, a country and a world stem from rebellion against our loving God. 
Rebellion brings on the anger of God because we rebel against God when we refuse his help. Prayer, confession and repentence will bring about a change in our mentality but we must give God a sincere prayer. Timothy Veal JUNIOR is a gifted musician, an anointed praise leader, a minister of the gospel and a dear friend of mine. Tim has pastored in Plano Texas at one of the largest predominantly African American churches in the Country, One Community Church. Tim was raised in the Philadelphia area, the son of a local Pastor. His experiences as a minister in the small local church, to his administrative work in Apostolic/ Pentecostal organizations and movements as well as his pastoring experience at a mega church prompted me to sit down with him to discuss the topic of the latest episode of the Truth Proclaimed Podcast.
