This one is not for the faint of hart. The Road by Cormac McCarthry is one of the bleakest depictions of the future I've ever read. This book is dark. If Cannibalism is a trigger for you, you might want to skip this one.

I don't know what to say about this book other than its ability to look at the bigger picture will leave you blown away. World War Z while being an anthology of interviews form servers of the fictional Z war.
