We're facilitating in a spot where other people can share their ideas and opinions and their life so other people can sit there and go, wow, I never really thought of that. I want more of an understanding. I want people to play nice. And the only way to do that is to understand where they're coming from." - Garrett Larghi & Neil Matthews from Other People's Shoes.

CEO of Wirestock.io Mikayel Khachatryan on Creating for Creatives

CEO of Wirestock.io Mikayel Khachatryan on Creating for Creatives

Today our guest is from across the world in Armenia! His name is Mikayel Khachatryan, CEO of Wirestock.io, a stock agency where you can upload to ONE place - and sell your photos on multiple content marketplaces like Shutterstock, Adobe Stock and more.

After uploading my own stock photos to multiple places and realizing how cumbersome and time consuming it was, I thought, "There has GOT to be a better way."  I kept looking - but didn't see the solution i was looking for - until... someone from Wirestock contact me about their platform.

I could upload my photos to ONE place - quick and simple - and they would keyword and tag them and send them all to major stock agencies. This saved me hours of time and the hassle of keywording each photo.

They were quick to respond to my questions, and I was immediately impressed with the company!  Someone had found a simple solution to one of my pain points.

So I reached out, and the CEO, Mikayel agreed to be on our show today, and we're so happy he did. You'll hear his background and story behind Wirestock,io; how he is helping creatives create, and saving time doing so.

From Laid Off To Living Her Dream with Angela Gast

From Laid Off To Living Her Dream with Angela Gast

"I was literally waking up at 3:30, four o'clock in the morning to get client work done before my actual day job and previous to being laid off, I was like, why am I doing this? Is this worth it?" - Angela Gast

We're talking to Angela Gast today and her story really sums up a quote that we have on our website now by Mark Twain. "Twenty years from now, you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do then by the ones you did. So throw out the bow lines, sail away from the safe harbor, catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore, dream, discover."

    From Angela:
"I was laid off from a job and that's really how this all started. I was actually doing the side hustle for awhile, working full time, but had this dream of being an entrepreneur really since I was a kid. I knew I wanted to do it. I just never really found the path of actually doing it. I would always get sidetracked by a full time job or another opportunity and it was just always so hard to say no to that and venture off into the unknown world of entrepreneurship. I like the safety of a full time job, but once I realized that after being laid off for the second time in my life, a full time job is really not that safe. I could actually be laid off at any moment. So it took two times to get laid off to realize that there's really no safe journey. So I might as well just do what I want to do."
