#062 - In this episode we meet Aisha who shares with us her story. Her story about how she overcame multiple obstacles and still come out on top to be a real success story! She is the first person in her family to complete Year 12 (and that was no easy task), went on to start her apprenticeship with a local hairdresser, and won herself a generous scholarship to help her out financially.
She is very grateful for her teachers that helped her along the way, but I have to admit, Aisha deserves some recognition too. We all could learn something from this young lady!!

#061 - In this episode I share with you my conversation with Terese. Terese is a mum to Lachie, a young adult, who has Down Syndrome. She shares with us the challenges, as well as the memorable moments she and her family experienced from when Lachie was little, through to his Primary and Secondary schooling career. Terese also shares with us what she found helpful and important, from a parents' perspective when he was at school.

#058 - What is the unwritten curriculum I hear you say? Well in my opinion it's the stuff you teach that is not always in your program. It's the stuff that probably matters the most, and will be remembered by our students the most. It's the lessons around love, compassion, empathy, resilience, perseverance and equality, just to name a few.
