An Emmy nominated filmmaker, Thomas Burstyn, has over thirty years experience as a cinematographer. Tom trained at the National Film Board of Canada as a documentary filmmaker, before moving into feature films, which include: The Lost Tribe, When Trumpets Fade, City of Industry, Population 436, and The Boys & Girl From Country Claire.
Tom's film company, Cloud South Films is a film company created by Tom and his wife, journalist Barbara Sumner Burstyn. Cloud South Films is committed to sustainability, both personal and professional in their documentary filmmaking in films including, One Man, One Cow, One Planet and This Way of Life.
One Man, One Cow, One Planet is story of Peter Proctor's trek to India to help restore traditional farming there.
This Way of Life is about Peter Karena, his wife Colleen, their six children and many horses who live almost wild in the stunning beauty of New Zealand's rugged Ruahine Mountains and their struggles with Peter's father and life's challenges in their way of life.
Both films have won screened worldwide and won many awards. This Way of Life has also been shortlisted for the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature.

Samy's animated film work has included: The Dog, The General, and The Birds, Igor, A Monster In Paris, Emilie Jolie, Charlotte, and Persepolis, which earned him Cesar and Golden Reel nominations.
Samy's documentary work includes: Babies, a Golden Reel nominee, 16 Sunrises, The Shadow Of Gold, Heart Of Oak, There Is A Forest, Antarctica: Ice and Sky, and March Of The Penguins 2.
Samy's more recent work includes the narrative feature films: the horror film Vermin and the acclaimed Mami Wata.
Jesse's documentary work includes: Shangri-La, Max Richter's Sleep, Tina, The Pez Outlaw, Mickey: The Story Of A Mouse, and the Emmy-winning, documentary feature, Wildcat.
Jesse's more recent projects include: the documentary, The Mission, and the narrative feature, The Post.
Eve's feature film work includes: I'm Dead But I Have Friends, A Bigger World, Working Girls, The Advent Calendar, San Soleil, and On The Edge.
Eve's television series work includes: Unit 42 and Endless Night.
Eve designed the Oscar-nominated film Close, for which she won a Belgian Academy Award for Production Design. Eve's recent projects include: Omen (Augure) and The Beast In The Jungle.
Juliana's earlier art department work includes, the series Severance as well as the features: Jungle, Elizabeth Harvest, and Triple Frontier.
As Production Designer, Juliana's feature film credits include: A Stormy Night, A Love Song, A Perfect Day For Caribou, All Dirt Roads Taste Of Salt, and Earth Mama.
Tomas' short film work includes: Flight, Soy Buenos Aires, Jose, and Museum Of Fleeting Wonders.
Tomas' debut feature film Chronicles Of A Wandering Saint had its premiere at SXSW, winning the AYH Award, and was nominated for three Film Independent Spirit Awards.
Mark's work for director Paul Thomas Anderson includes: Boogie Nights, Magnolia, Punch Drunk Love, There Will Be Blood, The Master, and Phantom Thread, for which he won an Academy Award.
Mark had also won an Oscar for his work on the The Artist. Mark's more recent work includes: Joker, The Fabelmans, and Maestro.
Benjamin was born and raised in the city of Aarhus in Denmark and graduated from the MFA Cinematography program at the American Film Institute in Los Angeles.
Here Benjamin received the Ethel Poirier Award for excellence in cinema. His thesis film Slut, which he shot for Chloe Okuno, was awarded at numerous film festivals and earned him an award for Best Cinematography at the HollyShorts Film Festival.
Benjamin's DP work includes the acclaimed feature film Watcher, reuniting with director Chloe Okuno, a thriller about an American woman in Bucharest who believes she is being stalked by a serial killer.
More recently, Benjamin shot Pet Sematary: Bloodlines produced by Paramount Pictures and directed by Lindsey Beer, as well as the comedy Maybe Baby, and the documentary, Being Human.
Matteo's work includes the narrative features: Prevenge, Wildfire, Scrapper, and Home Education, as well as the documentaries: The Confession, Pele, Return To Podor, and Pistorius.
Matteo's television work includes: Top Boy, Riches, and Glue.
Paulina's feature film work includes: The Man With The Magic Box, Nina, Prime Time, The Getaway King, Other People, the Oscar-nominated feature film, EO, Mother's Day, and more recently, The Green Border, for Agnieszka Holland.
Paulina's television work over the years includes: 1983, Cracow Monsters, Queen, Dead End, and Sexify.
