    About this Episode

The surfside condo collapse has not been easy to deal with it whether you have family directly impacted or not this is such a tragedy that it is just too difficult to ignore.  The surfside building collapsed on  June 24th & since then its just been whats felt like glimmer of hope after glimmer of hope just being snatched from us. Many families are still labeled "missing" given the state of affairs. Even though this tragedy is just one of those things that incomprehensible all we can do now is continue to live & spread love for those who cant anymore.

Its crazy to me that it's the year 2021 & Marijuana the same drug we give to our cancer patients is still getting athletes suspended. Its honestly asinine, this time the axe swung on
Sha'Carri Richardson, she finds herself suspended from this next race due to a drug she tested positive for to help cope with the death of her mother.  On this episode we talk about the ruling around the Sha'Carri Richardson suspension , we understand that the rules are the rules but I honestly feel these type of things should be looked at with nuance.

You would have to be living underneath a rock far far far below the earth's crust to not have heard of the debacle that transpired at the Tour De France.  During the race there was this huge crash at the Tour De France due to a spectator standing just a little bit too close with this huge sign that interfered with the race & helped result it into a crash. This spawned the conversation of essentially what it was that happened but also it begged the question "Do we allow to much access to the games/events for fans?".

Thank you so much for tuning in & we hope you enjoy as always If anything stood out to you about this episode please don't hesitate to share with a friend, it really helps out a lot thank you!

    S.O.S CUBA

    S.O.S CUBA

    Key takeaways from this episode:

    1.  An injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. This crisis is cuba is something that has been going on for the greater part of 60 years. The cuban people have been beaten, oppressed, starved & just denied basic human rights, no matter HOW you try to swing the story. The cuban people have taken out to the streets in the biggest demonstration of demanding a better quality of life since early 1990s. The beautiful thing though is that it seems this generation will not go down without a fight. We are not asking to share the answer that will end this issue right now but all we are asking is for some sincerity & empathy around the situation  & most importantly just stay informed.
    2. 75 hard is a challenge that was created to allow you to achieve the best version of yourself that you possibly can . It is a challenge engineered to allow you to reach a different part of your brain & really tap into what makes you tick but seeing some challenges out in front of you & really testing your mental fortitude.

SPECIAL EPISODE: A sobering sports weekend

SPECIAL EPISODE: A sobering sports weekend

    Key takeaways from this episode

    • The coolest part of the NFL draft is the fact that over a span of a couple days  every NFL fan gets to day dream & fantasize what a perfect season coming up is going to look like for them, or atleast drum up any ounce of hope of having a more stable & solid team. You also have the fact that so many young men our having there lives changed potentially forever with this new opportunity now that they have to play in the NFL, hearing your number get called is just a euphoric feeling. This 2021 NFL draft ended with a lot of now antsy fans that are excited to see the product their team pushes out onto the field, or they've just been completely heart broken. Thankfully as Miami Dolphin  "fans" we have an extra ounce of hope for a pretty cool season.
    • I want to just take a moment to let you know that we are not your financial advisors but we are individuals that like to point out cool financial  events that are happening in the world. Recently Dana White and the UFC went public on the stock market as The Endeavour Group (EDR) , if you give two hoots about anything stock related then you know this is something you should pay attention too. The cool thing about the UFC is that its a unique product, with a more than proven brand & track record that just continues to grow & get bigger every year, we don't see them going nowhere.  There recent slew of events is a perfect example of that. They recently hosted UFC  261 headlining with Kamaru Usman vs Jorge Mas Vidal & wow was this an event. Not just did you have a bout for the welterweight division but you also had someone completely shut the lights off in the co main event starring  Weili Zhang & Rose Namajunas. What an event & honestly this doesn't stop here, lets see what else UFC & Dana White have up their sleeve.
    • The Miami Heat will always be in our hearts, we ride & die for this team  in the cheesiest way a sports fan can with his beloved team. The regular season is about to come to an end in the next few weeks & miami is currently bouncing around its still unknown how this seeding might take place for them. A first round matchup with the Knicks would be interesting, I even believe a first round with Philly would be fun to watch lets see what happens. One thing is for certain though, that no matter the team as long as we have Jimmy Butler they are in trouble!

Its The Little Things That Make The Difference

Its The Little Things That Make The Difference

Tyler Perry has recently won  a Oscars Humanitarian award  from the Oscars & if you know anything about Perry's story then you know this isn't a shocker but still so sweet to see! The work Tyler's two foundations that support the homeless  has done has been out standing. Tyler perry has been able to pool together his resources to help the homeless and less fortunate. During his oscars speech Tyler made sure to point out that a huge piece of his loving spirit came from how his mother effortlessly employed empathy for everyone no matter what walk of life. Since the added exposure winning this award has called Perry has been able to raise more money from his foundations from people reaching out to support!

UFC 261 was an all around solid event, two knockouts that were definitely contenders for knockout of the year! Being that we are from Miami we were riding with our main Jorge Masvidal unfortunately it didn't end in celebration but wow what a fight. If for any reason on this god's green earth there was any doubt if Kamaru usman was a bad man I hope this clears up any doubt for you! Kamaru set up a 1-2 combination there that I know he will smiling at for a while. The UFC is only getting bigger & bigger, it is safe to say that Dana White & the UFC are here to stay.

One of the best comedians on this earth Andrew Schulz put on a phenomenal show over in West Palm Beach that we just really had to shout him out for.  Comedy is just so crucial for our everyday lives, we must seek the humor we must seek those laughs, they do amazing things for our psyche! Allow comedy to be funny and don't take it so serious at the end of the day remember its here to make you laugh what are you upset about?

    Justice Is Served, For Now!

    Justice Is Served, For Now!

Recently the world was able to witness the sentencing of Derek Chauvin the idiot police officer that murdered George Floyd. Even though the decision comes with mixed emotions still given the climate of things it is pretty safe to say in some facet justice has been served. This sentencing will not bring back the life that was lost but at least this helps give the family some type of closure while they are still dealing with the loss of a loved one. Since the senseless killing of George Floyd there has been countless other stories of individuals dying by the hands of police officers so even though this is a good feel moment for a lot it just goes to show that the job is still not done.

"In 1971, five high school students in San Rafael, California, used the term "4:20" in connection with a plan to search for an abandoned cannabis crop, based on a treasure map made by the grower. Calling themselves the Waldos, because their typical hang-out spot "was a wall outside the school", the five students — Steve Capper, Dave Reddix, Jeffrey Noel, Larry Schwartz, and Mark Gravich —designated the Louis Pasteur statue on the grounds of San Rafael High School as their meeting place, and 4:20 pm as their meeting time. The Waldos referred to this plan with the phrase "4:20 Louis". After several failed attempts to find the crop, the group eventually shortened their phrase to "4:20", which ultimately evolved into a code-word the teens used to refer to consuming cannabis." That right there ladies and gentleman is how years later we are still lighting up a join on the infamous April 20th.

The super league, many of you may be reading this or listening to this episode & may have no idea what the super league is, so i'm going to break it down for you real simple. The Super League (organised by the European Super League Company, S.L.), commonly referred to as the European Super League (ESL), was a proposed annual club football competition to be contested by twenty European football clubs. The competition would consist of fifteen "founding clubs" – who would be permanent participants in the competition and govern it – alongside five other European clubs who would qualify based upon their performance in their domestic league's most recent season. It was planned as a breakaway competition to rival or replace the UEFA Champions League, Europe's premier club football tournament organised by UEFA. Basically a little boy clubs of rich as your imagination can roam owners coming together to devise one of the biggest distribution of wealth of all time. Luckily for football fans world wide since announcing there plans a bunch of marquee "founding" teams have pulled out of this nonsense. Tune into this episode to hear us discuss.

The ups and downs when it comes to bitcoin have been a thing since its dawn, historically year over year it only climbs, hodl and watch what happens.

Save the Oceans & Save your Money

Save the Oceans & Save your Money

Seaspiracy is a documentary film  released earlier this year revolving around the environmental impact that fishing has had on our oceans. This film was directed by and star's Ali Tabrizi, that is also known for his 2018 film Vegan. Seaspiracy was released   on streaming giant Netflix in March 2021 and rightfully so the film has garnered a lot of eyeballs & in turn has started to turn a lot of the machinery in peoples head about this issue.  Seaspiracy has definitely been a polarizing film  showing you the behind the scenes of  what seems to be a very liberal stance on our commercial fishing. In the film it goes to show you the behind the scenes on the environmental impacts this is having like  the amount of plastic it is leaving behind & how the livelihood of our other sea animals are at risk due to commercial fishing. Like anything polarizing you will find your people willing to die by their perspective on it but none the less it is a film that will make you think.

The year is 2021 & bitcoin has officially hit 64,000, what a ride it has been for a lot of bitcoiners & the crazy part is that the ride still is not over. It seems that we have entered the first year of true institutional support in regards to bitcoin, more public companies holding it than ever & now you have Coinbase going pubic! On this podcast we have been bullish about Bitcoin for some time & we don't see anytime soon that stance changing. On this episode we discuss how bitcoin is essentially the bank of the internet, what it means to have a hard money & why you should probably stop ignoring Bitcoin.
