Turn It Up! II "Essenchill" series Episode 1 RAW

This was Turn It Up! radio series, august 1997 series 2. Recorded at 2MMM studios in Sydney and at MIX FM Traralgon, Victoria, this was probably the first time a syndicated radio series was produced digitally and sent out via a "gold" cd. It was broadcasted everywhere there was an opportunity, all over the world. Paul Fidler and I spent crazy amounts of time making this show. This is part 3 and edited for editorial purposes. This show features: new edition, deni hines, jade starling, peter andre, tina arena, neil finn, sex starved superstars, 702, pretty poison, quindon tarver, antmen, whitney houston, toni braxton, the braxtons, p.diddy/faith evans, az yet/peter cetera, will smith, vertigo, and CDB.

Warning: This is not perfect - This is a live audio recording of a Video DJ mixset I did in Los Angeles @ LA LIVE around 2012 - multi-genre musicality! My Favorite bits are around 26mins (this is it - my live mj remix) at 31:30 i go retro in a live remix and at 34:45 the song is one of my personal favorites (remixed live). Throw in a little chk chk boom and a little donna summer and voila! 1 hour of power! enjoy. 2G$

This is a really quick and dirty pre-show practice mix on my decks, made a bit more challenging with an irregular beat backdrop that you can play as upbeat chill in the background while doing stuff. Original mix is 3 hours!! Heres an edited 51 minutes of it. Happy Holidays and Cheers! 2G$

This mix made radio, but due to us not able to clear the Heavy D track for TV, was CUT!!! and all these tracks ended up in the scrap heap of the shows cutting room! So, enjoy the rest of it anyway. "fair use: editorial, critique, short excerpt"

This is another portion of the deskmix of the "shinydiscoball" soundtrack, to be released shortly. This portion is set 2, 1st song. Another portion is on my Soundcloud account. This is not finished, as you can hear there are still imperfections that will be fixed in the final release. It features two of my current faves, Pharcyde, and Canadian songstress Anjulie. Few outside canada know of her and her music, but its great stuff!! Add a bit of Donna and another 70's legendary group Hall and Oates, and voila - modern disco house! The Shinydiscoball soundtrack is just under 55 minutes and includes all the greatest artists ever under one shiny disco ball. hehe. enjoy and hey, leave some feedback to help us fine tune the final mix. Nearly there! Thought the fans would like to hear how the mix is progressing. This one I just did on my video decks just now...getting there...lots more practice needed until the final live mix for episode 1. This one wont make the cut as its got explicit lyrics and its not perfect yet, but its still good for your listening pleasure! Enjoy the progression to the final mix for ep.1 of the TV special.
