    About this Episode

If you ask yourself the questions, “What if this is it? What if my life now is all that’s out there?” then you’ll love today’s interview.

I have one of my clients, Uma Mani-Babu sharing how she was able to escape the on-going emotional drama in her head as well as pivot her once unfulfilling career to go after and GET a job that’s fulfilling AND makes more money all from coaching with me.

    coaching with lindsay preston

When Uma’s birthday would come around each year, it made her feel sad and disappointed because she hadn’t reached many of her goals set the year before.

When she decided to try coaching, we were able to work together over a period of about seven months to knock out her blocks, work through spending habits, and help Uma arm herself with the tools she needed to get her to where she wanted to be in her life all before her next birthday came around.

Now she looks forward to life and her birthday because she’s creating what SHE wants out of life and feeling great in the process.

    Listen to hear Uma describe…

-What life was like before she started coaching with me

-How coaching helped her get through the tiny things that kept triggering her again and again

-How she cut emotional eating and spending and what opened up for her instead

-How she thought she had to quit her career path but instead learned how to pivot her career to go after and GET a new job she actually enjoys but still uses her education, talents, and skills from her past

-How she was able to make back her coaching investment in just a few months

-What tools she learned from me that have changed her life the most

-How coaching has allowed her to have better personal and family relationships

    …and so much more!

    SURPRISE BONUS: MY 2023 RECAP

    SURPRISE BONUS: MY 2023 RECAP

It always blows my mind how much you love hearing about my life.

Your support and admiration for my honesty has inspired me to keep sharing even more in this SURPRISE bonus Become an Unstoppable Woman episode that focuses solely on what goes on in my world.

Today you’re going to hear the good, the bad and the ugly from all of my 2023. This year was a big one for me.

Get ready to hear all about how:

    • I feel deeper in love with how I look NATURALLY by doing two things that opened the doors for me to do so....
    • I healed from the biggest betrayal of my life (and no, it wasn’t my ex-husband) with the healing coming from an unexpected place....
    • I finally feel FULLY at peace and healed from everything that happened in my childhood, after being challenged to accept this one thought....
    • I’ve learned the ideal balance for me to feel my feelings fully without indulging or avoiding and now I’m teaching this process to clients...
    • After years of struggle, I have ZERO resentment in my marriage because I did the one thing over and over and over....
    • I overcame walking out on my marriage multiple times when a boundary was crossed to a point where I looked for an apartment and what that’s opened up for me....
    • My daughter and son are starting to thrive in ALL areas of life due to some big decisions I made this year with them....
    • I said goodbye to my beloved home of 12 years (that was once my single mama cocoon) and set up systems in our new home for it to run on autopilot so I could lessen my invisible labor and take on more work in my career.....
    • I hired a designer for our new home and it was a VERY lackluster experience, but it taught me a HUGE, very expensive lesson....
    • I got 2 coaching certifications with what felt like little effort, and it’s opened up some big doors for me for 2024 and beyond....
    • I overcame a month where my thoughts were so negative, I had some major ideation of death just to avoid them until I used this one tool and then shared what came of it to my husband....
    • I had to face the impact of my fibroids full force (because I thought I was dying from a cardiac event), then took a lesser known step to heal...
    • I saw firsthand what’s worth and not worth stress in my life anymore (thanks to a device I suggest all my clients use now) which forced me to make some big, often judged decisions...
    • I had the BEST YEAR EVER with clients, even though I did little marketing....

    ...and so much more.

This episode is like a year's worth of podcast episodes in one because I’m teaching all the steps of what I did to create all of these changes in my life. (I promise I won’t overwhelm you - lol!)

Prepare yourself for an honest and authentic glimpse behind the scenes of my life! As a reminder, these bonus episodes are completely raw and unfiltered (and unlike my other episodes, they are not edited).

I hope you enjoy this one, and I’ll talk to you in the New Year!

    THE LAST EPISODE (FOR NOW)

    THE LAST EPISODE (FOR NOW)

I can’t believe this moment is upon us but here we are. I’ve talked about this moment, I’ve thought about this moment, but even with all the preparation I’m feeling so many different emotions.

Because today is the day that the final episode of my Become an Unstoppable Woman podcast is airing.

To say it’s a bittersweet moment is an understatement. I want this to be a major celebration, afterall, this is my 200th episode of the show which is such a milestone!

I’ve loved every second of making this free podcast for you. The results some of you have shared with me through the years are messages I’ll cherish forever.

Your results are why I did this show for 208 weeks (!!!) for free. I wanted anyone at any stage of life at any income level to have the information needed to create a deeply fulfilling life and we’ve accomplished that.

As much as I’ve loved this experience and love connecting with you on this medium, I know it’s time to move on to focus on other projects.

So celebrate with me, be sad with me, and join me for this final episode!

In this episode, I have my Operations Manager, Rachel Parmet on the show to recap what this journey has looked like behind the scenes. Rachel has played an integral role on the production side of the podcast, so between the two of us, nobody knows this show better.

    ARE YOU INSECURELY ATTACHED?

I’m so glad to have you here joining me for my penultimate episode of the Become an Unstoppable Woman podcast. Since next week’s episode is more of a celebration and behind the scenes look at the podcast, this episode is really my last opportunity to coach you on here. So, I knew I wanted this to be an important episode.

Today I’m talking about attachment theory and the different types of attachment styles.

You may see this topic and think it’s too scientific, maybe boring or even above your head. But trust me when I say that what you’re about to learn is fascinating and I spent HOURS breaking down this concept for you in a way that’s easy to understand and compelling to listen to.

Your attachment style has a direct impact on every single relationship in your life, and the stuff I’m teaching you today will give you insight into where you stand in terms of your attachment type and how to start to heal it if you are insecurely attached.

You deserve to have incredible relationships in your life! That’s why I recorded this episode.

    YOU’RE ABOUT TO LEARN:

    - What attachment theory is and how it came about

    - A breakdown of the 4 types of attachments

    - How your attachment style develops in the first year of life

    - How my background and education inspired this episode

    - How opening our eyes to attachment styles has tremendously improved my marriage

    - What my attachment style is

Are you ready to understand if you’re securely or insecurely attached? By the end of this episode, you’ll have such a clear understanding of your attachment style and what you can do with this information moving forward. Listen at the top of this page.

ENERGY IS EVERYTHING w/ Germaine Ehlinger

ENERGY IS EVERYTHING w/ Germaine Ehlinger

Ahh! We’re down to the final three episodes of the podcast! I can’t believe it. Before the show ended, I knew I wanted to do an episode about energy and energy healing.

Understanding energy and having an energy healer in my life has been new to me and I’m loving the results!

Being a newbie client of the work, it’s hard for me to explain why this modality is feeling so good to me. Luckily, one of my clients, Germaine Ehlinger does energy work for a living!

So, lucky for us, she accepted my invitation to come on the show to teach us all the things about energy work so we can all understand it and benefit from it once and for all.

I know energy work has a woo stigma that’s lacking in practicality, but you’ll find after this episode today that energy is EVERYTHING and when you learn how to change your energy, results follow.

Listen in as we break down:

    • What energy is and why it’s not woo
    • What energy work is and how it works within various systems in our bodies
    • Why energy blocks happen and how they cause dis-ease
    • What an energy session can be like
    • How you can change your energy on your own when it’s low to be more productive and to feel better
    • How to listen to your body so you will find the energy healing you need most

    …and so much more

Energy work is a resource we can use to not only heal, but to help us stay at ease so dis-ease doesn’t occur. So, if you want an even healthier and happier life, this episode is for you!

    LIGHTWORKER LIVING

    LIGHTWORKER LIVING

I can’t believe there are only 4 episodes left of the Become an Unstoppable Woman podcast! If you haven’t heard, episode 200 will be my last episode of the show. Of course, who knows what the future holds…but for now, you’re about to listen to one of the final episodes of this show.

Of course, deciding on my final episodes has been an extremely important decision. I’m thinking hard about the information I know I have to put out into the world, and today’s episode absolutely falls into that category as I talk all about living life as a lightworker.

This one was a bit uncomfortable for me to record. After all, one of the characteristics of being a lightworker (sometimes also known as an empath or being highly sensitive) is that we don’t really talk about it. But, as you know, one of my themes on this show is that I turn on the mic to share all the things, and this topic is no different.

One thing that inspired this episode was a recent therapy session I had where my therapist told me that as a lightworker with a high vibration and positive energy, I have to be careful with who I’m surrounding myself with.

Then, two days later I saw that Stephen “tWitch” Boss died via suicide. I was heartbroken.

I knew tWitch (I flew him in to teach a weekend of workshops at my dance studio years ago) and he was absolutely a lightworker who I believe wasn’t getting the proper support to not only thrive in life, but survive.

Lightworker living can be hard. It can feel lonely and there’s often a lot of pressure on you to hold it together to help others. Your own healing (likley from a life full of trauma) can feel like a lot and the responsiblity you have on your plate to better the world can feel down right overwhelming to a point where suicidal thoughts can occur.

While we’ll never know why tWitch felt suicide is what he needed (nor is it our business), I knew I had to create this episode in case it will help another lightworker in the world see what they need in order to survive and thrive in life.

    SPECIFICALLY, TODAY I’M DISCUSSING:

    • What lightworkers are
    • 7 things lightworkers need in their life to be able to survive and thrive
    • What my encounters with tWitch were like
    • What’s led me to have suicidal thoughts in the past

    …and so much more.

If you’re a ligthworker, you’ll know as soon as you listen to this episode because you’ll absorb it all and likely feel very sensitive to this content. I hope it helps you thrive even just a bit more in your life. Listen at the top of this page.

    THRIVING WHILE GROWING

    THRIVING WHILE GROWING

Most of my Become an Unstoppable Woman podcast episodes are super planned out, some even take years and go through many iterations. But on today’s episode, I’m just turning on the mic and having a conversation with you.

This topic was actually inspired recently by my kids. I constantly witness how my kids and their friends just naturally live in the moment. They don’t think about what’s in the past, they don’t regret, they don’t plan for the future…they just enjoy the moment.

    It’s a really beautiful thing.

Unfortunately, as we get older, we tend to lose this trait. So today, I want to talk about that and how you can focus on your personal growth while still enjoying and thriving in your life today.

    I WANT YOU TO LEARN:

    • How to thrive while growing
    • How to get a clear vision of what growth looks like to you in an enjoyable way
    • How to live in the present

I often see that my clients have been hyper-focused on personal growth, even before they start working with me. Very early on we start to clean up their views around growth mindset so that they can enjoy the beautiful life they’ve built while also continuing their personal growth journey. I hope you can start to do the same after listening to this one.

    LIVING THE DREAM

    LIVING THE DREAM

There’s a phrase I use often and you’ve likely heard me use it here often on the show. It’s a phrase that may sound cliché to you, or you may find it impossibly daunting because you feel like it’s a made-up concept that can’t possibly exist.

That phrase is “living the dream.” And it’s the ultimate goal I set out to achieve with my clients.

If you’re not a fan of the phrase, I get it. I was like you once too. But then, something changed. I did the work, I overcame (most of) the crap in my brain and body that was holding me back, and now, I can honestly say I spend most days living pretty darn close to my dream life.

Once I practiced this process for myself, I began working on perfecting the process so I could teach it to others. After years and YEARS of working on this, I have mastered it!!! I know now with certainty what it takes for a driven woman to “live the dream.”

Today, I’ve decided that you as a Become an Unstoppable Woman podcast listener should also have a high-level understanding of this process, so you too can “live the dream.”

Know that I do not take this process lightly. This is a proven process that often takes a lot of work and commitment from you and likely support and guidance from me (or someone like me) to attain.

It’s not an easy journey at times, but it is attainable.

I feel honored to be able to “live the dream,” feel even more honored to have helped many clients create their “living the dream” lives and I’m full of joy to share the step-by-step process with you today.

    YOU’RE ABOUT TO HEAR:

    • Two disclaimers on what living the dream ISN’T
    • The 5 steps to make your dream life a reality
    • What it feels like to live the dream
    • Exercises you can do to start to figure out what your dream life looks like
    • A key element needed to live the dream

    …and so much more.

I’m so excited to pass this information along to you as it is my goal for every single person to live in their dream. These are steps you can absolutely start to implement yourself, but if you need extra support, that’s exactly what I’m here for.

    LET YOUR GOOD GIRL GO

    LET YOUR GOOD GIRL GO

I have a big Become an Unstoppable Woman episode for you today. So big, in fact, that I’ve recorded it 3 times! I wanted to make sure not to leave anything out and I hope you’ll listen to it in a place where you can catch everything I discuss.

Today, I’m talking about letting your good girl go. This is a topic that encompasses a lot of the work I’ve done personally and professionally with my DEI Coach, Alyssa Hall over the past two years. I’ve been working on letting go of society’s standards so that I can live authentically, run my business authentically, and truly understand those around me from all different backgrounds and walks of life.

What I’m going to do is break down all of the ways in which society places subtle and not so subtle pressure on us as women to be “good” which, according to society, equates to success.

The problem you may notice with adhering to society’s standards, is that you wake up feeling like you’re not living the life you’re meant to be living. Today’s episode will tell you why you feel this way and show you how to start to shift this so you can live authentically for YOU, not anybody else.

You’re about to hear all about the different buckets that society has shaped us to believe makes a “good” and “successful” girl and the goal here is to start to break free from these norms.

THE DIFFERENT BUCKETS I’M BREAKING DOWN TODAY ARE:

    • How society shapes us to be socially successful
    • How society shapes us to be academically and professionally successful
    • The concept that you need to be driven to be a modern women
    • Society’s views on physical beauty
    • The idea of following the rules

After you listen to this one, you’ll start to see these things come up more specifically in your life, and I’m not gonna lie, this may start to piss you off. But in noticing these things, you’re presented with the opportunity to shift them and start to live more authentically to who you want to be.

You may feel some discomfort while listening to this one, and that’s ok. This discomfort will lead you to change you’ll be so glad you created. Listen at the top of this page.

    MY FAVORITE PERSONALITY ASSESSMENTS

    MY FAVORITE PERSONALITY ASSESSMENTS

If you’ve listened to the Become an Unstoppable Woman podcast for a while now, you likely know I love personality assessments. I’ve previously discussed the Enneagram in detail on the show, I’ve had an episode all about the Kolbe assessment, and I frequently mention some of the other assessments that I have my clients take.

But, I have never dedicated an entire episode to share what my favorite personality assessments are and just how life changing they can really be.

I use these assessments all the time in my business so that I can coach my clients in a way that is customized and authentic to them and today I want to give you a glimpse into what that looks like.

    TODAY I’M SHARING:

    • My 5 favorite personality assessments
    • What each of these assessments tells you about yourself
    • How to use the results of each of these assessments to improve certain areas of your life
    • Examples from my own results as well as from clients and people in my life on what these assessments have shown them about themselves

    …and so much more.

Your results of these assessments are best analyzed with an expert like me who can truly help you maximize on this knowledge, but as I always say, the first step is awareness. I hope you learn something big about yourself today.
