We are back after a short break to give final thoughts in the Rams playoff game against the Lions.  We both felt this team could have been in the Super Bowl.  And final thoughts on the regular season.

There is plenty of news to talk about.

Most of the show is all about the coaching staff.  The big blow is coach Ra who has accepted the Falcons HC position.  In addition multiple other coaches have left.

The meat and potatoes are that the Rams are going to Detroit to play the Lions on "super" Wild Card Weekend!  The NFL dream match up between Jared Goff and Sean McVay, Matthew Stafford returning to Detroit!  We don't really care.  The trade was good for both teams and both players, this is just a playoff game.

We break down the stats and discuss what the Rams need to do to win.

We discuss the Rams latest two wins against Washington and New Orleans.  Both games had some similarities to them and they are not good.

A lengthy discussion about the Rams offense and some of the key turning points since the bye week.  If you recall, we were not happy with the performance of that unit.  What has changed?

We dive into the big win against Arizona.  By far the most complete explosive game the Rams have played all year.  We do ask the question is this fools gold for the Rams or not?  After all Arizona is really banged up on the defensive side of the ball.

How will this translate to the upcoming game against the Browns?  Will the Rams continue to move forward and win three in a row?  Will their offense look bad like they did against Seattle in week 11 or great like in week 12?  Are the Browns really as good as the record indicates?

The Lions hot start gets temporarily derailed by the Ravens, oh wait...

In the news, the Rams make a change at Kicker.  Dad doesn't feel the team values the position.

What we really talk about this episode is what is wrong with the Rams.  They seem to be a classic team of just good enough, although they should be better?  

The point is made that the Rams have a few top flight players and they need to perform.  Is Matthew Stafford still one of those players?

we have different opinions on if coaching is to blame for the loss.

We touch on some of the terrible calls that were made.  However, we do not feel those are why the Rams lost the game.

What is wrong with their offense?  It doesn't look smooth, it seems like they are forcing certain things and not getting into a rhythm.
