WHY SHOULD I BE WATCHFUL

We have experienced grace and mercy in numerous ways and at times we knew we were so undeserving. Guess what? The opportunity lies ahead for us to extend that same grace to somebody else. Will we pay it forward.

Many of us get trapped in the identity of culture and success of Hollywood and use those successes to define our worth, build and break us. If we are not careful the lifestyle we see through various media will lead us into emotional and mental crises because we are seeking to live a life that was never intended for us. Today it ends. We will no longer define ourselves by what we see but we embrace the path intentionally and uniquely carved out for us by our Maker. 

We have a common enemy. Despite our many differences, we can agree in that there is one Lord, Jesus, and there is an enemy who seeks to devour all who call on the name of Jesus. For this reason, we are charged to be sober and vigilant, alert; watchful.

 I am so excited to be back with our heart to heart conversations to encourage us on our journey. This subject matter has been on my heart for some time and I hope you will be reminded and empowered to step out in obedience even without all the answers. Did you know there is joy in losing the control? It took me some time to truly embrace this but indeed there is peace and joy in allowing God to take the lead/ full control.
