Today's story of transformation and inspiration comes straight from Mama Master Plan Program alum, Juana Lopez!

Back in 2020, Juana found herself scattered, exhausted, and out of control. She knew something wasn't right and needed to change but she wasn't sure what it was.

She just knew something needed to shift.

Juana applied for the Mama Master Plan Program in a leap of faith even though she had never invested financially in herself and her wellbeing before. Today's story of transformation and inspiration comes straight from Mama Master Plan Program alum, Mackenzie Gandomi!

When Mackenzie joined the Mama Master Plan Program, she was struggling to be a present mother. She had ambitious goals but didn't know how to reconcile them with the demands and expectations of motherhood.

She had fallen into a narrative of motherhood that didn't suit her - being too busy, moving too fast, ignoring her own needs and desires.

She found herself disconnected and unsure how to move forward saying. "It felt like my soul was being obliterated. I was so lost and angry and sad. I didn't want my daughter to grow up with a lost mother."

By committing to herself and to the deep work in the Mama Master Plan Program, Mackenzie cultivated healing and connection that impacted her entire family.

"I was lost in someone else's story" Mama Master Plan Alumna, Mel King Dollie
    **Re-released**

    #54

Every Thursday of this month will feature alumna testimonials of mamas who have taken The Mama Master Plan Program. Each mama comes to the program with a different struggle and different goals. Through the MMPP, mamas are rooted down in their values, find alignment to their personal goals and ambitions and walk away feeling empowered to use the tools they have learned through the program in their every day life.

Let's bring back a snippet of Mel King Dollie's poignant and transformational story. She is a Wild Mama of 2, designer from cohort 2 & 8. Yes, that means not only did she take the Mama Master Plan Program once, but TWICE!

Mel originally came to the program in crisis mode, feeling like she didn't know how to take ownership of her decisions and wanting to get back to her professional development while being a mom of young kids. Through the program she not only took accountability in her decision-making, but was able to achieve huge career strides within a year-and-a-half of her three-year plan!

Shortly after Mel and I recorded this conversation, Mel signed up to do the program AGAIN with cohort 8! Here's what she said about her decision to do the program a second time 4 years later:

"Honestly, I decided to do the program again because I listened to our conversation when it came out on the podcast and I heard my own advice which was, 'If you know you need this program, sign up and you'll find the time.'

I knew I was at a point in my life when I needed to go deeper into the Mama Master Plan Program content and that's exactly what I've been able to do.

The first time, I was just so surprised and excited by the idea that I could be the one to shape my own life. And now that the concepts are already part of my life, I've been able to move deeper into understanding my patterns, emotions, and myself.

The work I'm doing now in the program is all about helping that transformation really take root as a deeper practice."

Listen to this full episode (Episode 39) to hear what is possible when you sign up and show up for yourself in the Mama Master Plan Program!

Today's podcast episode is a deeply moving, insightful, and inspirational conversation with artist, community builder, and mama, Kahnma recorded live during our most recent Wild Mama Voices event so you could hear this incredible discussion.

Kahnma vulnerably share her story of fleeing war in her home country of Liberia as a child without her parents and navigating life in America as an undocumented immigrant.

How to create habits that last

How to create habits that last
    #52

We wild mamas are designed to operate from our life force energy which flows freely when we’re living whole. We’re not designed to force our way through life. Grandmother earth creates and flows through life with ease, power, knowing, and in a rhythmic cycle. The abundance grandmother earth can create comes from living seasonally.

We are the same. When we allow our mind, body, and spirits to align to the seasons and our energy to flow from our whole self, we don’t need to try on the latest habits and force ourselves to be disciplined in order to change. Instead we get clear on who we are and what we want and identify the habits and rituals that support us and keep us whole.

It’s a different way of operating. One that requires deeper work up front but creates the life you actually want.

Listen in to learn how I shifted from being a perpetual starter who didn't finish anything to being very consistent and disciplined and show up for myself every day!

There's no progress without death & rebirth

There's no progress without death & rebirth
    #50

Our society is so obsessed with progress and productivity. We're expected to be constantly going and growing regardless of what's happening in our lives or in the world.

But we aren't designed to operate this way. We are meant to go through seasons of bloom, rest, release, and growth, just like the rest of nature.

It's this cyclical nature of death and rebirth that allows us to actually make progress in our lives. Only after letting go of the things that keep us stuck and small can we have space for the growth, expansion, and abundance we're craving.

Wild Mama Voices: Mama-hood Across the Ages & Stages, Featuring Rea Fox (Live Discussion)

For our first event of 2024, our talk with elder, Rea Fox, she dropped so much wisdom and insight on motherhood through the ages and stages. She shared about what she would do differently and gave sound advice on what we mamas should ensure we make space for, including slowing down and being fully present.

A theme that came up a lot was trusting everything is going to be okay, allowing your life to flow, showing yourself grace, and committing to your own inner work as a vital component to being able to do all of the above. It was just a lovely soul-filling time and a great way to kick off 2024!

    Is balance even possible?

    Is balance even possible?
    #49

Is balance even possible as a mama? I know you're craving balance and more time for yourself. I know you're desiring space to think, reflect, and process so you can plant seeds for the future to create the life you want for yourself.

But realistically, how can you create that time if you're always sacrificing yourself and solving other people's problems? If you believe you're the only one who can do x, y, z, how will you ever have time for you?

Listen to the key about what I've learned about the truth of finding and achieving balance in my own life.

    Enjoy!
