Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty - Season 2 Finale Review - We Need a Season 3!!!

The story revolves around Yusuke Urameshi, who spends his days getting into fights and dies in an accident while trying to protect a young child. As he grapples with the fact that he is looking down on his dead body, a woman named Botan who calls herself a guide to the spirit world relays to him the shocking truth: no one expected a delinquent like Yusuke to die performing an act of goodness, and there was no place for him in either heaven or hell. Thus, Yusuke is given a chance to be revived, and after passing his trial, he becomes an Underworld Detective. From there, Yusuke becomes entwined in a mystery that envelopes the human, demon and spirit worlds.

Balbir Singh is a rich industrialist but has no time for his family. His son Ranvijay loves him to the core and considers him a superhero. But differences develop between them, and Ranvijay is sent to boarding school. Years later, he returns to celebrate the 60th birthday of Balbir but is asked to leave the house. While leaving, he is surprised to see Gitanjali, who has broken her engagement and wants to be with him. They both get married in a private ceremony and shift to US. Eight years later, Balbir is attacked by unknown assailants but survives. Ranvijay returns with Gitanjali and his kids to be with his family, and starts a war with the people who tried to assassinate Balbir.

Welp, the LucasFilm goldenboy Dave Filoni dropped a big, smelly one on us with the first season of Ahsoka. The problems didn't come fully into focus until the end, but in retrospect the writing for Ahsoka was just abysmal. Everything happened simply because the plot needed it to, the shallow characters went through no real development, and the characters didn't seem to care about the stakes so why should we? And who can forget the insanely dumb things too like Sabine surviving a lightsaber to the vital organs and Marrok being just a fart. If Filoni is going to be given more power and influence at LucasFilm, he better step his game up and work with better writers next time around.
