Steven Erikson | Author - Malazan Book of the Fallen

Steven Erikson is best known for his series, Malazan: Book of the Fallen, which introduced readers to a fantasy world unlike any other before.

While studying to become an archaeologist and anthropologist, Steven co-created the universe with Ian Cameron Esslemont, ultimately serving as lore for their tabletop RPG campaigns. This created stories and characters spanning millennia, of which both authors have continued to flesh out with new novels.

Steven is currently working on two additional trilogies, one set before and one set after the Book of the Fallen.  He has also added two science fiction novels to his repertoire since first publishing Gardens of the Moon in 1999.

I am extremely thankful for Steven and his time for this interview.  Thank you to the subreddit community for the questions you submitted and thank you to those that support the podcast!

Cinetherapy x Amalgam | Inland Film Co.'s Mitch Williams & Sam McGhee | Director & Cinematographer

Cinetherapy x Amalgam | Inland Film Co.'s Mitch Williams & Sam McGhee | Director & Cinematographer

For the first episode of 2019, we're joined by Mitch Williams (director/storyteller) and Sam McGhee (cinematographer), the talented duo helming Inland Film Co. in Liberty Lake, WA.  This episode has a special twist as we melded Sam & Mitch's own podcast, Cinetherapy, with Amalgam.  We're hoping to create some interesting content for both of our audiences.

Mitch and Sam were incredible hosts, and as a genuine fan of their podcast, I was honored to be a guest despite my lack of experience in the film industry.  Please give IFC and their podcast a follow on Instagram!
