    About this Episode

    Hi Friends!
🚨Rebranding Alert!!!🚨 I know I’ve been MIA this past summer. I did some thinking and realized that the One Bed One Bath podcast was no longer resonating and inspiring me with conversations/topics to share with my listeners. So I decided to change it to the Growing Resilient with Jules podcast! I am a firm believer in taking life by the horns, understanding and accepting lessons learned and making intentional changes, and gaining a better mindset from those experiences.

I am very excited (and a bit nervous) to share this with you all and I hope each episode can be relatable (or insightful) to my listeners.

You’ll be hearing from me soon…

    Jules ✨

Ep.006 - Don't Lose Yourself In Your New Relationship!

    Hi Friends!
The excitement of a new relationship can be fun and a euphoric experience. We want to put our best foot forward and prioritize our partners. However, the dark side to this experience can lead to resentment, unsustainable expectations, and (in a worst-case scenario) premature endings, if we aren't careful in knowing how to set healthy boundaries to keep our identity and have a strong sense of self.

In this episode, I share my thoughts, reflections, and my two cents on the importance of keeping your identity,  ways I've chosen to maintain individualism, and the questions and conversations you and your partner (or with anyone that is special to you) can use to sustain your sense of self and keep your relationship strong and healthy.

All the notes and links mentioned in this episode are down below:

    Enjoy!

Conversation starters by Dr. N. Jenner:

    1. How can I maintain my individuality while being fully committed to my partner and our relationship?
    2. How can we support each other’s personal growth and individual interests without feeling threatened or left out?
    3. How can we ensure that our communication styles support and encourage each other’s individuality?
    4. What are some signs that our relationship might be lacking a healthy sense of individuality, and how can we address this issue?
    5. How can we create a safe space within our relationship for open and honest conversations about personal values, beliefs, and opinions?
    6. How can we foster a sense of independence and self-reliance within our relationship while still maintaining a strong emotional connection?
    7. How can we recognize and respect each other’s boundaries while still maintaining a close and connected partnership?

Ep.005 - How I took the "FEAR" out of FOMO

Ep.005 - How I took the "FEAR" out of FOMO

    Hi Friends!
Have you ever felt like you wasted your 20s because you didn't do what your friends were doing? Peer pressured into attending an event because of the hype? Felt like you could have been at a particular stage in your career or love life if you simply did x, y, and z?

The fear of missing out (FOMO) is a real phenomenon that people of all ages have felt at one time or another. I can proudly say that I have overcome it through my most recent experience this past summer.

Tune in to hear my story and what I've done to put FOMO at bay.

    Enjoy!

Ep. 004 - I Am Boycotting Dating Apps, FOREVER.

    Hi Friends!
I know I've been a bit M.I.A. but not to worry, because I am back in business baby! Can't stop, won't stop!

In this episode, I discuss why I've quit dating apps and the reasons why they no longer serve me. They are filled with low-quality matches, and bots, and just feels inorganic to meet that special someone...but if I am boycotting dating apps, what are the alternatives??  Tune in to find out!

    Enjoy :)

    Hi Friends!

Ah...so this is where we've landed in modern dating. People are ghosting left and right and think it's not a big deal. Time to wake up and realize...IT IS and we should STOP doing it.

In this episode, I want to share my thoughts about ghosting, my experiences with it (story time!!!), and my personal take on how you can deal.

I hope you enjoy today's episode...
