A Veterans mission to help save lives by giving people a safe place to share their stories through film, music and media!

Why? Losing people, especially our own kids to suicide is absolutely gut wrenching. Losing 22 Veterans a day is bullshit and I was almost one of them! I will continue to stop at nothing until we get that number down to ZERO!

We share stories of those who have gone through traumas/tragedies, but how they've been able to overcome them because somebody needs to hear it. Is that somebody you?

Better yet, if you could survive laying out in sub zero degree weather bleeding out for 14 plus hours wondering if this is it? If so, do we have an episode for you! We have been waiting a very long time to get this next guest on, BUT, the time has finally arrived and we couldn't be more excited.

Nate is not only a Marine Corps. Veteran but a retired Kansas City Police Officer with a story like none other. When he first shared his story with me, I damn near cried while trying to pick my jaw up off the floor.

Join us today as we sit down with Nate as he shares his incredible story of surviving a near fatal crash that not only took his leg, but damn near took his life. We love this dude and know you will to!!

We love keeping it real on the show so get ready for some hilariously, jaw dropping moments!

Thank you Karl for one hell of an episode. I would venture to say almost everyone would love to quit the jobs they hate as gangster as you did!!

EP:42 It's ok to quit the job that's sucking the life out of you!!

    What's up my beautiful people?

Join me as I sit down with our very first mystery guest "Powerhouse" as we discuss that one time I quit my job 1 hour before my very first shift. Best part was...it wasn't that long ago.

Why did I do it? I had a HUGE come to Jesus moment and realized I just didn't belong in the medical field. Although I felt like the biggest asshole, I know in my heart I did the right thing.

Well...turns out "Powerhouse" has a similar story BUT, is unable to quit right now due to possible retaliation and or consequences. Hence why we are keeping her identity TOP SECRET!! ;)

We hope this episode will encourage those who are struggling to step down from those jobs that are sucking the soul right out of you. You don't deserve to be treated less than!!!!

After reading an article about another teenager committing suicide, I called for an emergency Podcast episode that needed to be done asap. Thankfully, I had many who reached out to help put this special episode together in hopes to help our kids, parents and caretakers who are really struggling with lost hope.

Our kiddos are hurting and all they want to be is heard. Our parents are hurting because they are parenting out of fear which in turn comes out sideways to our kids. Our caretakers are also feeling the same things if not more.

Join us as we sit down with our guests who bring some nuggets to help our kids, parents and caretakers on this amazing episode. What's even cooler, April and Maddie are actually a mother/daughter duo that bring their story to the table and talk us through what worked, what didn't work and so fourth. Elishia brings a very different angle as a healthcare provider, shares her story about raising her boys and how she worked through that fear.

I couldn't ask for a better final episode to sign off with for this madhouse of a year we call 2020!!

EP:26 "They really don't care about you. They just want the problems gone"-Claude

I only wish more Veterans would speak up about the madness that we see on the inside that not many civilians know about. Believe it or not, one thing that is highly frowned upon is getting help for your mental health. If you seek help, it could end your career which is why many don't seek help and just stuff. The other...reporting sexual abuse/harassment of any kind. Many (not all) Commands will sweep these reports under the rug or retaliate against their own. Which is exactly what happened to my next guest which ultimately ended his career.

There's really nothing left to say other than get ready to hear about some jaw dropping moments as we sit down with Retired Coast Guard Rescue Swimmer Claude Morrissey. His story is absolutely frustrating to hear yet hopeful at the same time. Not to mention, this was by far my funniest episode yet which sounds polar opposite of what we're about to share with you. We hope you share this with your loved ones as we bring light to a very dark area within the Armed Forces. This shit needs to stop!!!

I had the privilege of sitting down with Taya to discuss her story, how she's been able to overcome such horrible losses, how music has helped play a crucial role in her life and what she's doing now. Talk about a huge blessing to have her on our show.

EP:24 "It made me choose life and that's what's important to me today"-Karalyn

What if I told you that for a brief stint yours truly was homeless, would you believe me? What if I told you I picked up a part-time job at a gym just so I could take a shower, would you believe me? Well it's all true and I promise I'm going somewhere with this.

One of the coolest things in life is when the stars line up and I get to meet some kick ass, everyday people and Veterans who keep fighting the good fight to help bring an end to suicide, Veteran suicide and Veteran homelessness. With that said, you don't want to miss this special episode as I sit down with Marine Veteran Karalyn Martin to showcase some of the ways she's been able to help fight veteran homelessness (females specifically) and her own personal story that literally rocked me during this interview.

We're going to talk about the good, the bad and the ugly on how many women have been treated in the service and how she has been able to prevail from retaliation. This isn't a male bashing segment at all, it's her story. It's one of many similar stories that are starting to surface for the general public to see. I'm just so glad she chose to come on our show to tell us how she was able to overcome some of the darkest demons imaginable. She's a fighter to say the least.

Also check out the links below to learn about some of the resources we talk about on this episode. They're reputable non-profits here to help you or someone you love with mental health, veteran homelessness or hell, to reconnect with comrades. We're all here to help, just reach out to someone and tell them we sent you!!
