The Angels 2024 Spring Training Season is underway and we’re back with Episode 30 of the AngelsWin Podcast!  

Victor Rojas and Chuck Richter discuss the club as it enters the first week of spring camp, the latest interview of Arte Moreno and his decision not to sell the club and not wanting to add to payroll, and why despite it all there's reason for optimism for the 2024 Angels. We also took some of your question from the mailbag and added some details on our AngelsWin.com Spring event in Tempe March 7th-10th.

In episode 27 Victor Rojas rejoins Chuck and Geoff to discuss Shohei Ohtani's departure, the front office's mistakes in terms of not trading the unicorn ahead of the trade deadline and not adding legit names to both the coaching staff and front office, and what moves make the most sense next. The guys shift gears and then share their Christmas traditions to wrap up #27.

In episode 25 Victor Rojas, Chuck Richter and Geoff Stoddart talk about the hiring of the Angels new manager Ron Washington and his coaching staff. Who the Angels may target this offseason during the Hot Stove, and who not to pursue. The guys also talk about Shohei Ohtani's destination and more.

The Angels 2023 Season has come to an end.  Victor Rojas, Geoff Stoddart and Chuck Richter talk about the good, the bad and the ugly that the season had to offer. They discuss the removal of Phil Nevin as the team’s Manager and what candidates out there might be a good fit for the team. They make bold predictions on Shohei Ohtani’s likelihood of returning. Which players had breakout seasons and which players and rookies had the best chance of being productiive going forward? For the first time, the guys welcome a Special Guest into the podcast for Episode 22!  And what a guest they got!  Former Angels Vice President of Communications, Tim Mead!  Tim started with the team in 1980 as intern and worked with the team until 2019 when he was named the 7th President of the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum.  The stories he has to share are endless!  In this episode they talk about: Trout, Ohtani, Pujols, Salmon, Anderson, Abbott, Spiezio, (deep breath), Landston, Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson, Rush, Bruce Hornsby, Zakk Wylde, Kevin Costner, Tom Selleck (deep breath), retiring numbers, the Hall of Fame, communications in the age of social media and soooo much more!  This is a must listen to episode!

Episode 20 finds the guys welcoming in Week 1 of the NFL season!  But in addition to a quick discussion about how their favorite football teams look going into the season, there’s lots of Angels baseball to talk about.  They discuss: Nez Balelo’s, Shohei Ohtani’s agent, press conference (all is well?), Rengifo is the latest to join the Angels’ IL, Seattle pitcher George Kirby’s comments on being left in the game too long brings some heat from former players, what should the Angels look to do in 2024 and much more.  Finally, Geoff wraps things up with a funny story about whether he’s ever listened to Vitor Rojas’ podcast.

A 2-4 week by the Angels leaves the guys longing for better times.  Back when they were young and the future was bright and full of hope.  But alas, here we are.  So, is this it for the 2023 Angels?
