    Whether it is your first birth or your fifth, you can begin to define how you would like your birth experience to look. Will you labor at home or in the hospital? Who will be there? What will be the order of events after the birth? How will you create opportunities to bond with your newborn? What is most important to you? By setting your intentions and priorities in advance and visualizing how you would like the experience to go, you can begin to create the birth experience that you desire. Life never completely goes how you plan and birth is no different but here are some ideas to create more of the experience that you are desiring.

    3. Write what you would do if you were God for the day
    4. Write what you would like to be remembered for or leave as a legacy when you die

    Use the Mantra "I Love You" and say it to you and your hurts with so much love and a sweet voice, as if you are talking to a child.
    Use the Mantra "I deserve more love, not less" as you experience loss, depression, anger, disappointment, etc. Whenever you think you were less than your best give yourself more love not less. (Mantras are from Matt Kahn's book "Whatever Arises, Love That")

    1. Stay calm and observe/take a breath/ask questions when kids and teens act up
    2. Be patient with how many times that it may take for you to teach a lesson to develop a skill or trait
    3. Hear your kids (Say "YES" when you can...listen to their desires and set up ways for them to accomplish those)
    4. Forgive Your Children: messes, smells, etc.
    5. Move away from your ideas of perfectionism and accept your kids where they are at
    6. Establish you home as a sanctuary where kids are accepted for being themselves!
