Fantasy Brocus Ep. 803
Baseball baseball baseball. Fantasy baseball. Baseball. Bods. Mets. Yankees. Yeah.
Baseball baseball baseball. Fantasy baseball. Baseball. Bods. Mets. Yankees. Yeah.
Dan is joined by Matt this week to talk about baseball, Major League Baseball, specifically fantasy baseball. They discuss the merits of Astro Gerrit Cole, Gregory Polanco's hot start, Jed Lowrie's nonsense that he's doing, Joey Votto's slow start and much more. Also covered are the Mets and bods.
It's Fantasy Brocus, not Fantasy Focus because we're bros, not nerds.
We're back baby. Baseball is happening. Fantasy baseball is happening.
In today's ep we talk about how great it is to have baseball back, we talk about Matt Davidson's triple dong, Giancarlo Stanton's double dong and all of the other dongs around the league.
This week Dan and Matt talk some baseball, specifically fantasy baseball. We've drafted and have been staring impotently at our teams for a week and a half now. We talk about Kyle Schwarber, Gregory Polanco, Matt Olson, Matt Carpenter, Justin Verlander and a couple of guys who take a cuppa coff with a little heavy cream.
Joey Softie San Francisco joins the boys for perhaps the finest episode of Fantasy Brocus to date. In this ep, the boys discuss baseball, specifically fantasy baseball. They touch on young studs, Kyle Schwarber, Trevor Story, Marcell Ozuna, Ryan Braun, Noah Syndergaard and a bunch more. They talk about durds and turds and, bods? Yeah they talk about bods.
It's much better than Fantasy Focus or Fantasy Baseball Today.
You're going straight to bed without any show notes tonight, mister.
Matt joins Dan this week to talk about baseball, specifically fantasy baseball. And we all like that. We talk about the Brewers moves, the Marlins dumpster fire and Yu Darvish. Where Yu goin? Bods too, bods too.
Last time we told you who Matt Harvey is. This week we tell you who he was. In 2012 he debuted for the Mets and took major league baseball by storm. This is what happened.
I recorded this not long after the Stanton trade to the Yankees but luckily nothing has happened since then so it's fresh. It's a fresh ep. In this ep we discuss Ozuna and the Cardinals, the Yankees and their twin Undertakers, JD Martinez landing spots, Kyle Schwarber's bod, the Mets not doing anything and much more.
This is episode one of the internet's only Matt Harvey podcast (probably?). This ep gives the who and the why. More to come.
Earmenow. Fantasy Brocus is back, baby. We'll be back next week with a fantasy baseball season recap but this ep is a wildcard spesh. We saw a fantastic Yankees/Twins game on Tuesday. Would the Rockies/Arizonas game live up to the AL Wildcard game? You already know the answer by now, but dip a toe in anyway. You might find that you like the temp. (It's tepid)
Here is is. The pudding has set. These are guys.
In this ep we talk baseball, specifically fantasy baseball. We talk about Corey Seager, Nolan Arenado, Miguel Cabrera, Jacob DeGrom and some other boys.
baseball. bros. bods.
Unfortunately, because of the All-Star break, we were unable to get Kevin Costner or Coach but we did get Will. That's a big get. As we start the second half of the fantasy baseball season, we take a look at guys that we just just want off our planes/lawns. They were just hot enough in the first half but with a little luck, god willing, they'll start off slow in the second half and we'll drop them hard. Corey Dickerson, Avi Garcia, Dustin Pedroia, Evan Longoria, Carlos Gonzalez and no pitchers. Never pitchers.
It's Fantasy Brocus, not Fantasy Focus, because we're bros, not nerds.
It's the midway point of the season, yeah? That is nice. So nice, in fact, that we brought back two of our favorite guests, Kevin Costner and Craig T. Nelson to talk a little fantasy baseball. Specifically, we talk fantasy first half mvps and lvps, durds and turds and wolfmen. We also touch on Aaron Judge, Marcell Ozuna, Eric Hosmer, Domingo Santana, Ian Kinsler and many more hitters. There's no time for pitchers.
Baseball. Bros. Bods.
It's better than Fantasy Baseball Today.
In this ep we discuss discuss some audio issues, some ransomware issues, other computer issues and some fantasy baseball. It's good. Listen.
Mike Trout, Nelson Cruz, Carlos Martinez, Jose Altuve, Francisco Lindor, Chris Sale etc.
Here it is, weiners. This is the ep that those nerds at Fantasy Focus didn't want you to hear. This is the sp that those turds at Fantasy Baseball Today are so afraid of. The long awaited Dark Episode is here, bros. Drink it in.
Is it edited? no. Is it raw? yes. Is it no holds barred? yes. Did we pasteurize it? no.
Do we do still do everybody's favorite segment? Who could say?
We're back after a short break. Sorry to leave you hanging. You probably had to listen to one of those weiner fantasy baseball podcasts like Fantasy Focus or Fantasy Baseball today in the interim. Sorry. So sorry. We're back though, and we're not without audio issues. And that is nice. We had some mic issues so we used my laptop to record. Sorry. So sorry.
Anyway, it's week 10 of the fantasy season and I'm joined by Matt to talk about who's a durd and who's a turd. We talk about Todd Frazier, Masahiro Tanaka, Scooter Gennett, JD Martinez, Justin Bour, David Dahl, Aaron Judge and a bunch of other turds. And, if you stick around for Bodwatch I'll tell you about my trip to Muscle Beach. Tite.
Dan is joined by Matt this week to discuss fantasy baseball. We touch on Danny Santana, Jake Arrieta, Ryan Zimmerman, Gary Sanchez and a bunch of other dudes. Who could say? We talk about bods, advanced stats, Mitch Haniger and David Dahl. Furthermore, we touch on why we're better than Fantasy Focus and Fantasy Baseball Today. It's all capped with a very somber I'm Going Hungry. Too soon. RIP Chris Cornell.
Fantasy Focus survived the layoffs at ESPN so unfortunately we have to continue to do our show. Dang.
It's week 4 of the fantasy baseball season and waiver wires are looking barren, pitchers are still looking horrible, Mitch Haniger is still Mitch Hanigering. This week, Matt joins the program to talk about tiny second basemen, a couple of Joeys, Mark Reynolds and old guys -- are they any good?
Fantasy Focus is a bunch of turds, yeah? ESPN is pretty bad, no? You know that, right? Of course. You, like us, are a bro, not a nerd. And that is neat. You probably don't want any numbers or math to muddy your fantasy baseball analysis so we're not going to give that to you. This week we're joined by Matt to talk about dumping Starling Marte and to ask 'when are guys?' Probably not yet but soon. Guys, they're coming and we're gonna tell you which guys are coming and who is never gonna come. Also: other things fantasy baseball related.
