Hello! I'm Gail Nobles. You're now listening to Bible Drama. I'd like to share with you today another Bible story from the Old Testament trilogy by Norman Corwin. It is from the 1941 season of the Columbia workshop. Today I share the story of Job. There is a lesson in the story of Job. We are a lot like Job when we have trials tribulations and suffering. We wonder why things happen to us when we are doing our best to live right. We wonder why it takes so long for the Lord to deliver us from our trials and answer our prayers. It may take a while but God does answer prayers. Enjoy the dramatizing story of Job.

This is the end time news. Today’s topic is “The Earth Is Changing”.
Hi! I’m Gail Nobles. Welcome to end time news. According to headlines, the spin of Earth’s Inner core may be changing. That’s what scientists say. Scientists may be right. A new study finds that our planet’s iron center shifts between spinning slightly faster and slightly slower than the surface - but not all experts agree according to an article written by Will Sullivan in the online Smithsonian Magazine.

According to the scriptures, the earth will change. The earth will perish on account of sin. One day it will disappear altogether. According to Rev. 21:1, there will be a new heaven and a new earth. The first heaven and the first earth will pass away; and there will be no more sea.

Isaiah 24:20 said, “The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgressions thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.”

So my point is scientists may be right in what they think they see happening. The scriptures do mention the earth and how it will move & be removed. So don’t be surprised at what you see because we are living in the end time.

Hi, I’m Gail Nobles. Today’s topic is wealth and riches.
Many of us desire wealth. People have died over money. There are many of us that don’t understand that God himself is true wealth & riches. There are people that don’t see and understand from God’s point of view.

Jesus said in Matt. 6:19-21 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:

20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: 21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

You have to believe that. I think about what Jesus said about the sower that Soweth the word.

In Mark 4:15 And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts. Verse 19 And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.

Jesus told a parable about how one man was rich & the other one was poor. Lazarus was the one that was poor. The poor man went to heaven. The rich man went to hell.
St. Luke 16:25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.

We’ve got to remember the poor when we are rich. 1 Timothy 6:17-19 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; ..

All things.We don’t give ourselves anything. Riches and wealth belongs to God.
Proverbs 8:18 Riches and honour are with me; yea, durable riches and righteousness.
We must depend on God and serve him. God owns everything.

According to Deuteronomy 8:18 We must remember the Lord because it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth …

There are people out there that are truly rich in the Lord. His word is happening. Thanks everyone for listening. Tune in next time for more.

Today’s topic: To Be Set Apart

God sets apart believers in Christ to be His chosen people. We are also set apart by God to do work for him on earth.

Jesus said in St. John 17:16-19
16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. 18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. 19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.


We are also called to be holy, just as God is holy (1 Peter 1:15-16). 15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; 16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

This means when we are set apart by God, we are to live our lives differently than the world. We have to live according to how God wants us to live, Not the way the world wants us to live. We have to listen to God and do what he tells us to do. We need to do things his way. We need to live according to God’s word. We need to focus on God and not get caught up in the world. His word is real. The things you see are happening. The things you read in his word are happening.

Today’s topic is The Upper Room. What is the Upper Room? According to Acts 1:12-14 it is a place of fellowship & reunion.

12 Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a sabbath day's journey.
13 And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James. 14 These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.

Acts 2:1-4
2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
So the upper room is a place of spiritual impaction and gifts. It is also a meeting place for Christlike people.

According to Acts 1:24, it is a place to seek God’s face in a time of decision making.
Verse 24 And they prayed, and said, Thou, Lord, which knowest the hearts of all men, shew whether of these two thou hast chosen, ..
That was the time when Judas Iscariot had to be replaced.

The upper room is a place of prayer. Do you have an upper room today that is a place of prayer to spend time with the Lord. Call unto the Lord and he will answer according to Jeremiah 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

God is still on the throne and things are still happening in his word. Spiritually, an upper room can exist today for you or your church. I’m Gail Nobles, and you’re listening to Bible Happenings.

Hi, I’m Gail Nobles. Today’s topic is “Ability in the Lord”.

There is ability in the Lord. Jesus said : 12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father ( St. John 14:12).

If you believe and trust in God you will do greater works. His word is happening to people. You have ability in the Lord. It has nothing to do with fantasy or pretending. God is real.

Philippians 4:13 - I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

That means all things and through Christ. All things. Do you know you have this ability? It’s important to learn about the Lord and what you can do today because things are happening in his word.

Colossians 3:23 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;

Go about the Lord’s work with all your heart. Work for the Lord.

Verse 24Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. 25But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.

Hello, I’m Gail Nobles. We are living in the end time, and I guess you might be wondering where we are in the Bible. I believe that we are at Matt. 24:6.

“ And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.”

We see soldiers marching and preparing for war. Today we hear about Russia invading Ukraine. We are now hearing that China could invade Taiwan in 2022. By the time you finish hearing this podcast, you’ll probably see and hear more.

We see our grocery store shelves looking empty. That’s a sign of food shortage. The things that the Bible said would happen are happening. But the people that are of the world do not think so like the people that watch and pray and study the Bible. They do not want to believe that Christ is coming. They are not ready to see him because they are not ready to give up what they have or maybe for some other reasons. However, the Lord is soon to come. Nobody will miss the return of Jesus.

Jesus said in Matt. 24:27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. And he said in verse 23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. 24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; ….

Also the Bible mentioned scoffers. 2 Peter 3:3-4 3 Know this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, 4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.”

That is happening right now.

It is said that there are at least seven men around the world that claim to be Jesus Christ reincarnated and may have followers. One of them goes by the name Intro Christo. He claims to be the reincarnation of Jesus. He became famous as a persona in comedy television programs, getting to participate in a widely circulated advertising campaign. Now, we all know that is not Jesus. The real Jesus is not of this world, but he is coming back.

Jesus in the Bible warned us to take heed that we be not deceived: for many should come in his name saying, I am Christ; and the time drawers near: go ye not therefore after them. You’ll find that verse in Luke chapter 21:8.

Henry Ian Cusick starred as Jesus in The Gospel of John. He acted out the story that Christ is the eternal Son of God. The true Messiah and Savior of the world. Through Henry’s acting, we are told and taught through the word of God that we should be saved by Jesus.

Henry is not Jesus. He was just the image of a man that looks like Jesus for the movie. Acting out the Lord made him an evangelist speaking the words of Jesus. That Jesus is one with the father. Henry showed us why Christ is called the Word. He showed us Christ was crucified and that Christ rose from the dead and no longer in the grave. That he is the bread of life, the light of the world, the door for the sheep, the good Shepard, the Resurrection and the life. The way, the Truth, and the life.

If you’re reading the Gospel of John and don’t understand it, keep reading it. Keep reading the Bible. Keep seeking Christ, and he will help you understand. And if you don’t mind, watch Henry Ian Cusick the actor who starred as Jesus. It was an awesome movie. The Gospel of John. But keep in mind, it’s no act. The word of God is real.

This is the End Time News. Today’s topic: Not With The Crowd. I’m your host Gail Nobles. Yes, we’re living in the last days, and there is so much out there in the world.

Do you try to serve God? Does it seem like everybody is going in a different direction than you? Do you ever feel like you’re not with the crowd? It feels kind of lonely, doesn’t it? Your friends may get upset with you when they know you’re being led in the right direction. They might tell you in order to hang with them, you’ve got to be like them. You’ve got to make the choices that they make. Your friends might want you to do things that are not right. But God is telling you to do the right thing. You must serve God and not your friends. If you’re friends are telling you to do wrong, you know they are not your friends and may be leading you in the wrong direction. That may be a terrible end for you. If you don’t do the wrong things that your friends do, they may covet and turn out to be your enemies. Don’t try to fit in with the crowd. Stand your ground.

1 Peter 2:9-10

9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;
10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

If you’re not with the crowd, you are not alone. Stay with God. Stay saved and do the right thing.

Violence in Jerusalem
Luke 21:20
And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.

Today on the news we see rockets being fired close to Jerusalem or towards the Jerusalem area. There is violence. We are living in the last days. This is The End Time News.

I never thought I’d see days like I see now in my life time. Coronavirus & Pandemic. I see riots and people fighting. Tornadoes and all sorts of destruction. The end time seems more near to me now than it ever did. I was warned in my dreams that the Lord was soon to come. It seemed so far away then.

When my mom got sick and passed away, I began to feel change. The Bible did mention in Isaiah 57:1 that the righteous perish, and no none takes it to heart. This verse was recognized when I saw my mom trying hard to serve God, and I didn’t understand why she had to go. The Lord always answered her prayers and blessed her. Even my mom felt something when she saw herself falling apart. She said: It must be something going on that I have to be this way, but you got to see me this way. And the Lord said he’s coming to take me home.

Isaiah 57:1 also mentioned that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come." My mom died in 2001.

This world will soon end, and I know the Lord is coming. I heard people say that they weren’t ready and that heaven could wait. I say this world is not my home. I’m ready to get away from the grief and pain. I’m ready to see Jesus cause when he comes back, everything that’s bad will go away. I want to be happy and reign with Christ and see my mother again. I’m excited about the coming of the Lord. No more bills. No more taxes. No more sickness. No more sorrow. No more death. Everything will be perfect.

When the Pandemic came, I heard the Lord say: Do not be afraid. I am with thee.

And those words are found in Isaiah 41:10. Everything that the Bible said was going to happen is happening. If you don’t believe in God, you should at least consider that. Read his word and study the prophecy. I’m Gail Nobles. Goodbye for now.

The Bible is true of the things that were and of the things that are. This is Bible Drama.

The Bible can be very enjoyable. It is also something we should take very seriously because it is about us. It tells the history of the world. The Bible is important. The Bible should play the most important role in life.

Today you will hear the 1941 season of the Columbia workshop. You will hear a play dramatizing the story of Samson from the Old Testament, written by Norman Corwin. Norman was a writer, screenwriter, producer, essayist and teacher of journalism and writing. His earliest and biggest successes were in the writing and directing of radio drama during the 1930's and 1940's.

The play Samson is from his Old Testament Trilogy. Samson was a lot like us. Norman Corwin chose a good story to dramatize. We need to listen to the story of Samson. Like him, sometimes we deal with the wrong people, and then we are betrayed. We can cause things upon ourselves through lust.

Samson had been more than once brought into mischief and danger by the love of women according to the book of Judges chapter 14 and chapter 16. Yet, he would not take heed, but is again taken in the same snare, and the third time was his final end.

Let's begin now and listen to the play of Norman Corwin's Samson. ....

There is a lot going on in our world today and we should be seeking Christ the Lamb.

We need the Lord right now (singing)

I read in St. John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

I keep flipping pages and I keep on reading (singing)

Isaiah 59:20 And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the Lord.

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

And I read in the book of Joel 2:32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lord hath said, and in the remnant whom the Lord shall call.

And I went back to Isaiah 54:5 For thy Maker is thine husband; the Lord of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.

Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

Acts 16:31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

Revelation 22:3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:

Today we should be seeking Christ the Lamb. HE is our REDEEMER.

The Bible does mention angels singing, and one morning I heard angels singing. It was a peaceful and quite early morning. There was not one sound. And when I heard them sing, I was in the bathroom. I peeped out of the door. Again, there was no sound. I stuck my head back inside and closed the door and heard voices again. I peeped again and again there was no sound.

That morning, I was getting ready for work. I listened for the sound of that singing the third time, but there was no sound. In my heart, I was very nervous. Then I asked the Lord, "Lord, what does that mean? Am I going to die or is it someone else? Am I in trouble?"

The Lord would not answer me until I was out of the house. He said to me, "It means keep on living and take nothing upon yourself."

I understood the Lord. He wanted me to live and go to him for everything. Thank you Lord.

Luke 2:13-14 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying 14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

When the Lord is the Shepherd, he will supply our needs. We don't have to fear any evil. When there is danger, the Lord's presence is with us. We can lie down without worry. He gives us our daily bread.

He leads us and guides us by his word. David said he leadeth beside the still waters. The waters are still. He gives us direction and not to those troubled waters. He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death. Things may look dark and dreadful. When you are sick or on a dangerous highway.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies. A cup that runneth over to me is a cup filled up. You don't have to worry about hunger or thirst. Psalm 23 means that God is with us and taking care of us. The Lord is the shepherd.

In Psalm 41:9, King David said, " Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me."

People are saying the same thing today about how their friends turn against them. True friendship is rare. You're lucky to have one bosom friend. It's no surprise when we receive evil from those that we claim to be our friends. People turn against God and do him wrong also. If people are doing God wrong, they will also do a friend wrong. Judas betrayed Jesus and sold him for 30 pieces of silver according to Matt. 26. And in Luke 22:48, But Jesus said unto him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss.

Mark 13:8
For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.

You can see these things happening in our land today. You can feel the earthquakes and streets collapsing. You can hear and see the destruction of the winds from tornadoes and hurricanes. You can see the floods taking over the dry land. We are seeing, feeling, and hearing the word of God. His word is coming to past.

Matt. 24: 6
And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

Yes, today we do hear about wars on radio and on televisions. The end of the world is near.
