Black Men Send Urgent Message to Kamala Harris and Leaders of the Black Church
Kamala Harris Can't Count on the Black Man's Vote in 2020, says Nate Campbell

    TRUTH

Kamala Harris will have trouble persuading black male voters to make her president in 2020. First, she must explain why Donald Trump has a better prison-reform record than she has as the Senator for California. Then she'll have to overcome the perception she'll do anything to climb to the top.

    FINAL NOTE

On the street, black men have already made up their minds not to vote for her. Between 2004 and 2016, when Harris worked as San Francisco’s district attorney and state attorney general, she opposed federal supervision of California’s prisons after a U.S. Supreme Court ruling declared the overcrowded facilities inflicted cruel and unusual punishment on inmates.

Cory Booker Is Running for President, Loves Gay Weddings

Booker, who is straight, has a solid record on all of the major LGBTQ+ issues. He supported same-sex marriage as far back as 2012 — years before it was legal in the U.S. — and when New Jersey legalized same-sex marriage in 2013, Booker officiated the very first same-sex wedding ceremonies in the state.

As a senator, Booker introduced a bill that seeks to reintroduce lapsed bans on conversion therapy, and he supported Senator Bernie Sanders’ Medicare for All bill, which would expand queer and trans people’s access to life-saving medical care if passed. He also questioned Trump appointees Jeff Sessions and Mike Pompeo on their anti-LGBTQ+ records during their respective nomination processes.

The Senator, however, has a less than than savory history with charter schools and corporate donors (though that’s not necessarily bad for LGBTQ+ people so much as it is bad for everyone ... depending on how far left your political compass lands).

Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO)

Passed in 1970, the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) is a federal law designed to combat organized crime in the United States. It allows prosecution and civil penalties for racketeering activity performed as part of an ongoing criminal enterprise. Such activity may include illegal gambling, bribery, kidnapping, murder, money laundering, counterfeiting, embezzlement, drug trafficking, slavery, and a host of other unsavory business practices.

To convict a defendant under RICO, the government must prove that the defendant engaged in two or more instances of racketeering activity and that the defendant directly invested in, maintained an interest in, or participated in a criminal enterprise affecting interstate or foreign commerce. The law has been used to prosecute members of the mafia, the Hells Angels motorcycle gang, and Operation Rescue, an anti-abortion group, among many others.

Kamala Harris Weed, Snoop and Tupac Discrepancy

Kamala Harris Weed, Snoop and Tupac Discrepancy
Kamala Harris Weed, Snoop and Tupac Discrepancy

Listen Now --- During an interview on The Breakfast Club radio show, many honed in on the Democratic presidential candidate’s reply to the question of whether she smoked marijuana. “I did inhale,” she confirmed, later saying that she smoked weed back in college.

While discussing the legalization of marijuana, Harris said, “Listen, I think it gives a lot of people joy, and we need more joy in the world.” Later on, there was an exchange that may have resulted in either an admittedly ridiculous answer or, more likely, a reply that was misconstrued.

Co-host DJ Envy asked the Senator, “What does Kamala Harris listen to?”
“What was you listening to when you was high? What was on? What song was playing?” Charlamagne Tha God added.

“Was it Snoop?” DJ Envy interjected.

“Oh yeah, definitely, Snoop. Uh huh, Tupac. For sure, for sure,” Harris said.

People on the internet assumed that Harris was answering Charlamagne’s question, and quickly realized that in this case, the timelines don’t quite match up.

    As reported by Okayplayer:

Harris graduated college from Howard University in 1986 and graduated from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, in 1989. She was then admitted to the State Bar of California in 1990 and served as a deputy district attorney in Alameda, County, California, from 1990 to 1998.

Why Black Women Are Obsessed With Brother Rizza Islam
The Most Disrespected Person in America Is Still the Black Woman

“The most disrespected person in America is the black woman. The most unprotected person in America is the black woman. The most neglected person in America is the black woman.” ------ That famous Malcolm X quote found new life via Beyoncé’s memorable sampling of the speech on her acclaimed 2016 album, Lemonade. That album was largely an expression of the pain and triumph found in black womanhood, a beautifully creative signpost for what we have witnessed.

______________ Listen NOW to hear how Brother Rizza Islam addressed the brilliance of the black woman: from cultural critique to unbridled creativity. He also touched on certain complexities black women suffer disproportionately from various forms of neglect.

Mooney Twin Says Humans Are Not Built To Be Monogamous

Mooney Twin Says Humans Are Not Built To Be Monogamous
JUDGE JOE BROWN VERSUS DWAYNE MOONEY --- LISTEN
    Valerie Denise Jones' Official Breakdown

Humans Were Not Built That Way, says Dwayne Mooney.
    Okay, let's explore ...

Polys often point out that humans are capable of having sex (and building connections) with more than one person. Prior to committing to a relationship, people often have multiple sex and relationship partners. We are animals, after all. Why limit ourselves?

Then, by the stroke of a pen or utterance of a few words, the opposite becomes apparent and we suddenly become non-animals, extinguishing that core part of ourselves — engaging in many civilizing activities that are typically considered not to be part of human nature.

Blame DWAYNE MOONEY if you want, but monogamy has taken a hard hit in recent years. Websites, books, talk shows — and yes, participants in this podcast - state that humans are not built to be monogamous. The source of human relationships, Mooney says, is that we attempt to box ourselves in, limiting ourselves to the unreasonable notion of being with just one partner for the rest of our lives.

Wake up, Judge Joe Brown. Shatter that outdated paradigm and find the way to happiness.

OMG! We had fun during this episode. We encompassed many views. Listen NOW to decide which position you're going to take as it relates to the monogamy vs. polyamory debate.

    ABOUT THE TITLE
Yes, you read the title correctly. LETS UNPACK THE BACKSTORY. No pun intended.

Here's what I learned from a former guest, Dr. Tommy J. Curry

We, as a society, should conceptualize the Black male as a victim. Dr. Curry argues that Black men struggle with death and suicide, as well as abuse and rape, and their existence deserves study and theorization.

    READ THE BOOK
Dr. Curry's book, The Man-Not, offers intellectual, historical, sociological, and psychological evidence that the analysis of patriarchy offered by mainstream feminism (including Black feminism) does not yet fully understand the role that homoeroticism, sexual violence, and vulnerability play in the deaths and lives of Black males. Curry challenges how we think of and perceive the conditions that actually affect all Black males.
