Man! this has been a wild ass trip! Me and all my friends sat down after our first day of hunting in kansas to talk about some of our favorite moments of the trip so far. We discuss the lower Mearns quail numbers, Old dogs and young dogs, and a significant amount of shit talking.
Yep, Chukar hunting is hard after all. Big surprise I know. After the first stop on our B3 cross country road trip we sat down to tell the tale. Bruce Potter, Nate Burbach, Nick Schade and myself recount the lessons learned and calories burned in pursuit of one of the most extreme upland bird hunts that there is.
So, this one was a podcast i was worried about. The pay to play arguement is a real issue for me. Im not in favor of it, so I was uneasy with the idea of doing a podcast with a company called landtrust when they emailed me.
Im still not in favor of it and wont pay to hunt myself, but I did enjoy the debate with Nic.
My first trip to Pine Ridge Grouse Camp in Minnesota didnt disappoint! We moved lots and lots of Grouse and Woodcock. Ate some amazing food and shared stories and laughs.
