After deciding to play minor league baseball right out of high school, Smith followed his brother Irv Smith's path to playing professional football. Starting in NFL Europe, Smith eventually earned opportunities with the Washington Redskins, Atlanta Falcons, Philadelphia Eagles, and Detroit Lions. Smith is now the co-host of the EZ Sports Talk Show alongside Javon Adams at 1060AM in Phoenix.
